This place is a must, way better than similar places like Chiptole, Moe's, Qdoba.Their tortillas are pressed fresh right in front of you made to order, their food is always fresh and fast. The staff is friendly and prompt with service.Definitely recommend.
Tried Pancheros for the first time today off a recommendation from a friend and we were highly disappointed. Staff did not greet us when we walked in but instead slowly came out from the back and after being behind the counter for a few minutes they still didn't greet us but just asked what we wanted, neither associate that helped us was friendly. The restaurant was very dirty and food looked like it had been sitting there for a while and appeared to be in dirty containers as well. Food was nothing special and had little flavor. We tried the medium and mild salsas and the medium was very salty and had an offputting taste of char. Unfortunately have to say we won't be back.
Went late afternoon and chicken was dry at least a day old, no fresh veggies to choose from, and all tables were dirty. Never going to pancheros in Ann Arbor again. Doesn't even compare to chipotle or Qdoba
Walked in tonight wanting a burrito and a bowl. Family of 6 ahead of us and it took over ten minutes for the employees to take their order. There were 8 staff members behind the counter messing around with each other and zero desire to move the line along. We finally walked out after 15 min in line because the family ahead still did not have one completed order and the employees were laughing about losing customers as we left. Some of the staff looked 12 years old. Highly disorganized and a massive waste of time.
They close way before 9pm. Just don't even waste your time. I'm pretty sure kids run the show.Tried again. It's 6:30 on a Wednesday. Closed again. The sign says open and they are all inside having a meeting. What a joke.
the place is just depressing. the food looks and is bland. the rice is undercooked, the beans are dry and pasty, the steak is dry and rubbery, and so on. they also serve it to you like slop in a prison line with no care. the place is dirty. overall just disappointing. i wanted to leave right after getting in the ordering line but still gave it a chance.
Good food. Good prices. Quality food. Not a fast food by any stretch of imagination. Much better than the Los Amigos, Los Tres Amigos, and El Zarape with their various problems that's made me boycott all three of them, especially the Los Amigos with its disrespectful management (both the floor manager and Freddy, the GM) and it's owner whose responses to all the bad reviews is: 'please give us another chance!" Well. Maybe you need to step up David and change things around and even fire your arrogant managers. Right?! Sorry, but I felt compelled to say it.So, support Pan heros. You won't regret it. The food tastes good too. Bob Appetite! ?

Your food will be wrong. Your food will be delivered by a third party that will charge you, even though the restaurant says it's "free". You will be given a "reward" to rectify that error that will be REDEEMED without an order. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM REMOTELY. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. DO NOT ORDER.
Wow the tortilla was made when we made our decision to get a burrito.lots of good stuff all mixed together then wrapped up... awesomeness great job, I will be back.
