We loved our dinner at Pacific Rim during commencement weekend. The food was delicious. The service professional and attentive. The restaurant was lovely. Our new favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor and the prices so reasonable. Thank you for making our evening so special
The food was delicious and the service was top notch: courteous, fast, and knowledgeable. I had the Japanese-Style Sablefish, and it was just like our waiter said, melt-in-your-mouth. My husband had the Thai Seafood Bouillabaisse, and he loved the flavor! For dessert we shared the mango-thai basil and the pineapple-lemongrass sorbet, and the only “complaint” I have is that each serving had two scoops of sorbet, and we could’ve done with just one because that was a lot.
Another fantastic experience. It's a no brainer to come here over restaurant week. My girlfriend and I had the spring rolls and crab cake for appetizers, the soup and salad and the lamb shank and ribeye for the entrees. I don't think you can do wrong with any of the dishes but the lamb just falls off the bone! For dessert we had the creme brulee tasting which was truly excellent, as someone who loves creme brulee. The wine pairing makes for a great all around experience.
We started with the calamari, which was excellent and a generous portion. We both ordered the Thai Bouillabase, which was incredibly flavorful and loaded with delicious seafood and mushrooms---all were tender and prepared perfectly. I sipped the ginger tea throughout (fantastic) and finished with a passion fruit mojito --also delicious. We shared the tasting trio of creme brulee and they were all incredible but the ginger was just amazing. This place knows flavors and has become our special occasion restaurant because every bite is interesting and delicious!
Just wanted to say thank you for the lovely dinner and service. My wife and I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The service was very professional. We were seated right away and our server, Andrew, was top notch. He introduced himself right away and eloquently shared the restaurant's recommendations. The food was absolutely fantastic. There wasn't a morsel of food left on our plates when we were done, lol, and the Passion fruit mousse dessert was a delightful end to our meal. Interesting flavors which is exactly what we were in search for. Can't wait to come back and explore some more. Thank you!
We just moved to Ann Arbor from Texas and Pacific Rim immediately became our favorite restaurant. The sablefish is one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, hands down. The servers are always impeccable & so kind. We also love the outdoor seating they’ve set up with the tents & lights, truly a one of a kind experience!
Lovely ambience, food and drinks made from scratch, including items supplied by farmers markets. Spicy, flavorful soup. The entree came out hot, wonderful flavors.Frequent water refills, which always impresses me. Finished off with dessert, which for once is not too sweet.Overall wait staff did the superb job, very professional and high class service.
Love love love this place! I seriously don’t know how anyone can rate this below five stars. I have been dining here for years and they have consistently met a very high quality bar in terms of food, service, hygiene, decor, everything!! Even through the pandemic! The food is absolutely delicious….whatever you order from the menu. I wish they had more vegetarian options so I could bring my vegetarian friends in (and placate them), and I could have their delicious seafood :) I also wish they had a variety of large salads with lots of veggies.
Amazing restaurant . One of my favorites in Ann arbor . Had the Thai bouillabaisse , Korean marinated rib eye , the Thai calamari for appetizer and really enjoyed all of them . The warm chocolate cake was an excellent dessert . Nice ambience and service as well. Great place for a really nice dinner out
Had a great visit on 11/13. Started with autumn squash soup, warm and smooth with a little sweetness. Then had th market salad, which was fine. It was a little under dressed and the greens seemed a bit wilted. My main was the seared tuna which was perfectly prepared. For dessert we had the molten chocolate cake which was warm, rich and delicious.
