Great place, thankful they implemented a vaccination or negative test standard. For me the Tteokbokki was the best thing I ate that night but everything was fantastic. Make sure to try the macha mix drink!

I like this place, but was disappointed that they no longer offer table service. Food was excellent, especially kimchi rice cakes. They had a couple good local beers. It was just a bit annoying to go to the counter where they don't know what beers are offered, then go to the bar to ask, and finally placing the order at the counter. I'll probably go somewhere else to relax and enjoy a $100+ bill for 2 in the future.

Hands down, one of the most talented chefs in Ann Arbor. She was ranked 2021 Best New Chef by Food and Wine for a reason. The majority of these poor reviews are boomers who don't understand the concept of tapas-style dining or people that don't consider fresh/local ingredients cost more. I'd recommend Miss Kim's to anyone traveling to Ann Arbor.

There's so many better, more affordable Korean restaurants in Ann Arbor than Miss Kim's (I like Kang’s and Bewon!)Pros:- the food itself can be pretty good- cool aesthetic- great location in kerrytown- a free carrot salad!Cons:- some of the employees were a little unfriendly- way overpriced- small portions*Fish broccoli*: way too strong on the fish sauce*Smashed potatoes*: so good! I would come back just for these*Korean chicken sandwich*: pretty good but not the best Korean sandwich I've had

Food: 3Staff: 5Environment: 5Food is overpriced Americanized versions of what they were with small portions, but could also be seen as fusion flavors. We got the soy garlic sauce for all dishes since one of my friends can’t eat spice, but the soy garlic sauce was way too sweet and didn’t have enough soy sauce nor garlic flavors, which made the dishes harder to finish. Staff were friendly and attentive and we even charged our phones while we ate haha!

Updated 1 day after: I got food poisoned. I've spent most of my day today on the toilet and this was the only meal I had yesterday.Original 2-star review:Not worth the hype.I'd regret for never going there. I regretted it after I actually visited.Small plate of radish kimchi: nothing special but $5Fried tofu: it's the signature dish there. Not bad.Zingermans baguette: I know it's zingermans but this baguette feels very "mass-produced". The oven spring was almost non-existing. The crumb was not open. It is not properly leavened. Supermarket quality bread tbh.

It's way too overpriced. One tiny Gua Bao (smaller than my palm) costs $6.00!!! The Bibimbap costs $20.00. Outrageous expensive. It tastes not bad, but definitely not worth the money. Will not return for sure.

We really enjoyed the rice beer, smashed potatoes and bibimbob. All were perfect!

Owned by Zingerman's, Miss Kim already promises high expectation. However, both my party and I thought the food flavors were a bit off and a little too salty. Do not get me wrong, everything was cooked to perfection, the chicken was juicy and the vegetables were fresh. But something just didn't balance.Side note: And if it is owned by Zingerman's - you know it's going to be pricy for a small amount of food.

The food looked amazing and the servers were awesome. But the food didn’t really taste like anything which confused me. My friend got Bahn mi and the bread was amazing but the contents..again, didn’t taste like much. No spice, not a lot of flavor.
