We had a really nice server. She tried hard. What was bad was the other server/manager/greeter. She was hostile, got mad when we asked where the bathroom was and even said "we're closing soon, so hurry up if you are going to use the bathroom" Her behavior, trying to rush us our during a special family dinner really ruined it. The food was ok, it's supposed to be the best in town, but I didn't really see anything that set it apart and I was scared of the angry woman. So average food, with a great server and a really mean manager/greeter hovering over us gets an average downgraded. It was nearly $300 so it would have been nice to be treated nice.

Sushi was excellent. We tried many different rolls and all of them were fresh, and there were tons of options. One of the best seaweed salads I've ever had as well. Our server handled our disorganized group of 6 really well. I would definitely recommend this place over some of the other sushi restaurants I've been to in Ann Arbor!

The sushi was fresh and delicious. We got the kinsen boat, monitor, and mango breeze. I highly recommend

Very nice atmosphere, server was friendly and helpful! Suprising busy, but food was served within a reasonable amount of time! Definitely recommend the $99.00 Boat! Was more then enough for three.

??We ordered something new and it wasn't AT ALL what we expected. We didn't touch the plate and asked the server if we could order something different. He took the plate back to the kitchen and sent a manager over. The manager proceeded to bring back the plate of food and told us we were obligated to pay for it because we ordered it even if we don't eat it. We just wanted a replacement meal, not a free one!! We drove over an hour to get there with high hopes but left highly disappointed. We won't be back!! ??

When we ordered our food, it wasn't at all what we expected. Our server took our food back and told us he'd send a manager over. the manager proceeded to bring the food back to our table and told us we are obligated to pay for it since we ordered it. I just wanted something different and I don't at all think that was an appropriate response to asking for a different meal! we won't be coming back. Their customer service stinks just like the raw fish they tried serving us!!

I don’t even wanna say I don’t recommend because that’s not it for our experience. If anything it’s your manager poor customer services. My family & I had been planning for a few weeks to come to your restaurant for sushi. I seen you do big platters of sushi rolls all over your Facebook page & thought it was really cool. Well when are sushi platter came out it was not what we were expecting or anything like the platters we seen on your Facebook. I told our waiter this isn’t what we thought we ordered. He said ok & took it back. The manager then came back set the plates on our table & said we can’t take this back once it’s left you have to pay for it & walked away… I get you can’t service it to anyone else once it’s left the kitchen because that is any restaurant but the fact that she did absolutely nothing to try to accommodate us is very poor customer service on her part. Even if she would have taken one of the $36 dollar plates off our bill I probably would have then orders your sushi roll boat but she did nothing for us. I could tell she didn’t even wanna deal with the situation at all. So your manager is the reason I more then likely will never come back & it’s sad because for 2 weeks I was looking forward to coming to your restaurant. We all were so excited & drove 45 minutes to come to your restaurant but instead wasted $75 on something 3 out of the 5 of us didn’t like.

Good sushi

This is an excellent Japanese restaurant on the western edge of downtown Ann Arbor. Located directly across from the 1st and Huron surface lot, the parking availability is actually not bad. The decor is very well done and appropriate for a Japanese establishment. It creates a very nice ambiance for a nice meal.We were seated quickly and our server was very prompt in attending to us. There were several tempting options on the menu. I started with the Avocado Salad, which was very good. For my main, I had the Chicken Teriyaki while my wife had the Bibimbap. We were both quite happy with our choices. Our son and daughter-in-law shared a Yorokobi Boat, which offered an amazing variety sushi and other delightful treats. The value was reasonable. The total bill including food, drinks, tax and tip was about $140. At $35 each, it was a fair price for the quality. We'll look forward to returning when we have the chance.

Miki was my favorite sushi spot for YEARS. New management just took over and let me tell you it’s become a joke. Terrible management, if you go in a group of 4 or more you split the bill EVENLY and pay for what isn’t yours because “the system says we have to do it like that” per new extremely unprofessional manager. Oh, her solution was “you can all just Venmo each other”.. to a group of 8 people. While the sushi is still incredible here, the service is not worth it. Save your money and go somewhere else for peace of mind :)
