The staff was courteous. We had reservations for a party of 7,including 3 children. As for the food, I've had better Italian food in A2.The pork belly was the best dish. The chorizo stuffed dates was good too. The crispy cauliflower foesnt compare to a similar appetizer from The Cheesecake Factory. The crab pasta was mediocre. So was the Supreme pizza. The pesto gnocchi was alright. The prosciutto arugula pizza was good.
I had a nice dining experience at Mani. My companion and I sat outside. Our server was kind and attentive. We ordered the whipped ricotta, (it wasn’t my taste but I’m sure others would like it if that’s your type of dish) the tomato vodka pasta and the supreme pizza. The food was great! My only feedback would be that the pasta portion size is very small, especially for the price. The pizzas are the best bang for your buck. Also, not a huge deal, but we were charged $1 for extra bread that we needed for our whipped ricotta. If you give someone a huge portion of ricotta and only four pieces of tiny bread, and you’re already paying like $12, I don’t think one should be charged for more bread. And we weren’t informed there’d be an extra charge.Overall, Mani was great and I’d come back.
One of the best Italian restaurants in town and even in South Michigan. Foods are fresh and tasty and the staff are friendly and well trained. Highly Recommend and will definitely come back.

Everything tasted fresh and cooked/prepared well except for the grapefruit sorbet at the end (super bitter, just don’t try even if it’s on the regular menu). Our server was also super friendly and welcoming the entire time and the place had an amazingly lively atmosphere!
Grabbed drinks & dinner with a friend after work, we sat at the bar. Drinks & the food I had was pretty good! I do have a gluten allergy, I was shocked that they had all of this pasta & pizza but no gluten free options for either of them. Pizza crust & pasta are some of the "easiest" things to make gluten free. Being an Italian restaurant, Italy has a million gluten free options within their dining. With food allergies & peoples intolerances, this place should really be more inclusive to those who need this dietary restriction. Especially being in Ann Arbor. Wish they would have this option as everything sounded great, just not options for all which was extremely disappointing.
The food and atmosphere were great. These guys work like a well oiled machine with Canadian level hospitality. It sounded like the table next to me had been waiting for their meal, but I saw no evidence of lag from the kitchen. Maybe they were being entitled and condescending. Key point, don't be entitled and condescending to the people trying to give you a good experience.
Wow! Great place and location. First time in Ann Arbor. Highly recommended for wood oven pizza and pasta. Add to your list.
MUST VISIT if your looking for an excellent Italian meal. I've lived in Ann Arbor 3 years and kept walking past this restaurant because it's ALWAYS busy and now I see why. Our waitress Savannah was Amazing !! So polite. Great atmosphere for a date or going out with friends. I will definitely be bringing freinds and family here who come to visit. I highly suggest the fire roasted mushrooms as an apatizer or side
I really don’t see how this restaurant is getting such great reviews. I was there last night, my friend ordered the gnocchi which was quite nice but was the serving size of an appetizer. Another friend ordered the fish which came with absolutely nothing else, no sides at all, not a sprig of a vegetable, just a fish with head and tails on a plate and also very small. We are slim women, we don’t eat a lot, when I say servings were small, they were small even for us. I ordered the pizza which was just ok, and large enough to share. The tables were so close together that the very apologetic server passing between them bumped my friend’s chair twice and elbowed her head. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff are also excellent, but the food was definitely just meh.
