Delicious sushi, friendly service and good atmosphere
Best ramen I had so far in AA! The beef teriyaki is so good. The lady served us was so nice, she give us free tea (is final week, and I guess we look tired) she is so considerate and caring!
I love this place. had a vegetarian Ramen spicy dish. absolutely delicious.. and. something similar to a spring roll grest service. reasonable prices
This cozy little sushi spot is right on the main drag in Ann Arbor. We went on a Friday and it was absolutely packed. Although we waited at least 10 minutes at the front of the line before the hostess made eye contact with us, the service was pretty quick once we were seated. Prepare to be patient waiting for a table.Because it is basically in the middle of campus, it's alive with students, and fun place to be on the weekend if you don't mind the lively conversations. The sushi was fresh and expertly made. Miso soup and hot tea are both complimentary, which is a plus. Overall, we had a great experience here.
food was very delicious and fresh, we got about 5 rolls, and the seafood ramen! i would give it 5 stars but i took one iff because if the service, we ordered 2 appetizers, and the waitress came back from the kitchen and told us we ordered too much and should probably bot get the appetizers since we had gotten too much sushi. i do not know what context she meant it in, but i did see them bring out the appetizers we ordered to other tables, who had big orders as well.
This was our first experience with Mama Satto. The waitress was very nice and we were seated quickly. However, it was obvious that they were understaffed as they enforce an 18% tip. Our sushi was room temperature and pricy for what we received. The bao...was shameful. We were given the thinnest slice possible of pork and the bun was firm and had a leathery texture. Our salad was meant to have a ginger-citrus vinaigrette but was plain. My disappointment is immeasurable, especially considering the good reviews.
sushi & edamame were great but knocked off a star for the slow service and very long wait time. would definitely still recommend just maybe during lunch time or a weekday lol
The food was very good, and the sushi and sashimi we ordered was plated together super nicely. The prices were pretty high I think for sashimi, sadly.
This Korean & Japanese restaurant is serving Jjampong noodle which is not so bad at all! Quite a generous amount of seafoods on the noodle and the broth was also good. The beef ramen was also good. Those noodles are more of Korean variation of Japanese ramen, but everything was tasty. I also had a Cali roll, which was not bad, but I would recommend the noodles more.
I went here with my sister for her b-day. we are both vegan and the service was terrible. Some things that weren't marked with the "V" (for vegetarian), clearly were (edememe). So we had to ask the waitress if they were and she insisted they were and then our food came back with fish flakes on it. Some things marked vegetarian on the menu were not so we had to send that back too.. There were only about 5 things marked V on the menu to begin with and it was completely unreliable. Do not eat here if you are vegetarian or vegan, the menu isn't accurate at all, and the staff insisted dishes were vegan/vegetarian and they weren't. Very frustrating for my sister and I. Veganism is about supply and demand. even if they scrape the meat off they still used it, it just goes in the trash
