Rude service. Sat us and snickered our way for about 15 mins before coming to ask us for our order. Took our order then waited another 10 mins without drinks, so we just left. All who arrived after us around were served drinks and their food before we even got waters (which never came before we left).
Ordered a coconut cream pie, paid extra for whipped cream on it. After picking order up and brining it home, find out that not only was it merely half a slice, but it lacked the extra whipped cream. When I called the employee I talked to told me she already knew about the slice of pie and that "there was nothing they could do, they come pre sliced."I was then lied to that a manager wasn't in (no manager at 7pm on a Friday...yeah right) and told they would take my number and contact me in the morning. Well imagine my surprise that I was never contacted. This is what I paid $4.50 for.And don't get me started on the quality of the food...I was given old fries even. They were tepid while inside the same container as other HOT food.I recommend anyone else just stick to our local coney fare....leo's is just pathetic in the face of Alpha and Uptown.
Twice in the past 2 weeks my to-go order has been wrong. I asked for an omeletter with American cheese, I got Swiss. Today asked for a skillet without tomatoes and over easy eggs, got tomatoes and hard eggs. I've had good experiences here, but this is twice in a row I've been disappointed.
We've been to several Leo's restaurants around the area and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and have always had a good experience. We went to the location on Zeeb road and it just felt depressing the moment when we walked in. No complaints about the food and waitress, but the atmosphere needed something. The walls were painted a drab color, with no pictures. The large room had no ambiance and reminded me of being in a Checkers...We just were very disappointed... The place needs a little sprucing up.
The service was amazing. My only complaint was the half raw hashbrowns (everyone has an off day), and overall, everything was great. The eggs were even cooked perfectly
Fresh cooked food. Sometimes wait seems longer than the amount of people in the restaurant but could be amount of to go orders. Food is always good so I will continue to wait ?
Started out with ordering a saganaki. Didn't wait long for it, which was good. But waitress delivered it and forgot the pita bread for it. Took almost 5 minutes til we got it, cheese was cold by then. I ordered a buffalo chicken pita with fries, my wife ordered grilled cheese pita with fries and my daughter ordered grilled cheese with fries. Once food came out, no fries with mine. She said she would get them right away. I waited over five minutes, I could see my plate of fries sitting on the counter while waitress sat at the window waiting for another order to come up instead of delivering my fries. I decided to start eating my pita. Three bites in, the chicken didn't taste right, had to spit out the bite into my napkin. Then excused myself to the bathroom where the other two bites did not stay down. I came back and the waitress came with the check (still no fries) and asked how everything was, told her the chicken was either undercooked or rancid. She took the rest of 5he sandwich and said she would fix the bill. Took another five minutes, got the check, and sandwich was off the bill. Went to the registered to pay, the guy at the register asked how everything was, told him, and he thought I was j9king when I explained horrible. Waitress, cooks, host, and even the manager that never came to talk to us dropped the ball on this.
Nothing fancy. It has something for everyone. It's new so it feels a little sterile. Staff is nice, and food was good.
Let's start with the positive: the actual fish we ordered was very good and you get lots of fries. The Establishment is clean and our waitress was attentive. However, we got all you can eat fish and were not offered additional fish and, the tartar sauce tasted like dill relish, and although I asked for a cup of side of mayonnaise I was brought packets over and over again and ended up with a big pile of mayo packets on my plate. It was decent and it was Leo's but there were little details that made it not the best experience.
I’ve been to Leo’s a couple times and food is adequate. Went today and they had a note that they were closing at 2 for halloween. Fine. We got there at 1:49 and they refused to seat us. Closing is when you stop seating. If you’re not going to seat people at 1:49 change the sign. It’s just bad practice otherwise and a great way to tick people off.
