Hands down the best macarons I’ve eaten outside of France. The service, selection, decor and vibe are all top notch. I drive an hour at least once a month just to come here!

My daughters ( ages 14, 7, & 3)and I wanted to try some French macaroons . We found 3 places and out of the 3; La bon's had the best favors and textures. They were super friendly, and I also enjoyed their earl gray tea!
This place is amazing! I am super picky about my macrons and this place totally exceeded my expectations. First off, the store itself is soo cute! It’s like you’re in a real Macron store in Paris. Secondly, the texture is perfect. There is a hard crunchy surface and once bitten, it is super soft and chewy, exactly how a macron should be. Lastly, they have so many flavors and they are delicious. 10/10 recommend(: Will be returning soon.

Very nice atmosphere
I love these macarons! They have so many unique flavors and they really do taste like the flavors, not just sugar. We wanted to have a gluten free dessert for my wedding so I had to have a macaron tower. It was fun selecting all of the flavors, and my guests loved them. My only regret is not ordering more.
Looks are not everything, but sadly looks FOOL so many people. People will come here and truly believe these macarons are good, solely because it’s Ann Arbor and it’s a cute shop. I’m a macaron lover, I get them in every city and state. These are by far the absolute worst I’ve had out of the dozens of cities and states I’ve had them at.I got 6 different flavors. They ALL tasted the same. Just like plain sugar. It was extremely disappointing to spend almost $30 for ONE visit and come out literally hating everything.
Introduced my best friend to macarons for today, and I'm so glad we chose this place! Cute cafe, great service, tasty treats!
