We ordered the Sweet/ Sour Chicken and the General Tao’s Chicken, vegetable rolls etc.My Sweet and Sour chicken was very dryand after eating just a bit I threw it in the garbage. The General Tao’s Chicken so so. Did this place change owners???It used to be so good! We noticed last year that there a change in the quality of the food. Not sure if we will be back.I ordered the Hot/ Sour Soup to eat tomorrow. My favorite. Will see!
King Shing is my go-to spot for Chinese Food in Ann Arbor. It's quick and easy. I always order online and the food is ready on time, regardless of how large of an order it is. I only ever order for pickup, and it's really quick in and out, just giving the end of your phone number.I generally keep it pretty basic with my food orders: chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, and egg drop soup. But they absolutely hit the spot. I always order extra so I can have leftovers. And one of the best parts is that it's a lot of food for the money. Good bang for your buck.
I came here because of the reviews. I am new to the area and have tried a couple of chinese place but this is the best. I took the advice of the review and tried the Singapore Rice noodle dish. I could not be happier. It was a great recommendation and a new favorite dish.Also got the Sesame chicken dish and it was great too. The meat is a decent size and both have great flavor. They were packed when I went and the food was ready for me when I got there. I placed the order like 15 minutes in advance.
I ordered the hot and spicy shrimp today. I think it was really good and the shrimp was really tender. I never had this good Chinese food in a while so I enjoyed it. I think the dish was more sweet than it was spicy. But still I enjoyed it and I recommend this restaurant.
King Shing is KING OF CHINESE FOOD! I have been a faithful customer since they opened. Moved out of state, returned and their quality, value and kindness (stop in one day!) is STILL second to none. There's a REASON why they're the KING! King Shing is KING OF CHINESE FOOD!
These people don’t care about quality or customer service. Twice now we ordered on DoorDash and received sweet-and-sour chicken with no sauce. Basically glorified chicken nuggets. And when we complained they laughed and thought it was funny. We overlooked it the first time, but the second time was the final straw. Will never order from here again.
I don’t eat Chinese food often, but when I do I only eat at king Shing.
This was my favorite Chinese restaurant, I will not be going back, they have changed their food it is not good or well made, foods coming undercooked, wrong flavors with the meal, just all around so dissapointing
Solid strip mall Chinese takeout. This location is convenient for anyone on the southeast side of Ann Arbor, north Pittsfield Township and far west Ypsilanti, and the service has always been very good, but the food used to be only passable with most dishes being overly sweet. The food has changed, for the better in my opinion. This review will likely be updated in a few months as I plan to go back at least a couple of times over the next month or so.
The women are nice and the food is good but the man that takes the orders over the phone is incredibly rude. I mean RUDE. They need to put someone who doesn’t hate the job answering the phone. I would have never continued with my order if I didn’t know the women there. The two ladies are sweethearts and I feel really bad for them that they work with this miserable man.
