Middle Eastern Falafel

My daughter and I stopped in for a quick bite. It was a bit confusing at first as I wasn’t sure if we were to wait to be seated or we seat ourselves. There are 2 lines. One for dine in and one for carryout. When I got up to the hostess area she said to seat ourselves and then come back up to that desk area to place our order and pay. I did as she instructed but had to wait in line again to place my order. Next time I will just place my order then sit down. Food was fantastic and came to our table quickly. Lots of great Vegan items for my daughter to choose from. The hummus was really good. I had the Chicken Shawarma plate and my daugter had a falafel wrap.

The customer service was excellent. The young lady behind the counter, although VERY busy, was willing to be interrupted twice ? by me to kindly answer my questions. The food was excellent, I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area or passing by. I just wish that I lived closer ?. The food is great, prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a convenient, easy-to-carry meal.

My group of high school and college students specifically requested this location due to the variety of delicious choices for people with special diets. I called a few days ahead and spoke with Ali. He was incredibly nice and accommodating. The staff were so kind and patient working with our group, even when short staffed. Our little banquet was perfect and yummy! Thank you!!

Knowing that Ann Arbor is supposed to be a mecca for international foods and fine dining, and being from out-of-town, we were excited to order food for take-out to take to my sister's (who lives in Ann Arbor) for dinner. 1) They had no "family size" items, so we ordered four dinners, two veggie grape leaves with sides of tabouli and two chicken shawarma with sides of fatoush salad. 2) The food was extremely bland and the chicken was dry. Even the garlic sauce was unremarkable. 3) They shorted us the two fatoush salads! For four people we had only two small salads whose main ingredient was green onions in abundance. Middle Eastern food is my favorite and in Lansing we have Aladdin's, Sultan's, Tabouli, and Ozzie's Kabob, among others, that serve complex, flavorful, authentic, Middle Eastern food. If you are craving GOOD Middle Eastern Cooking make the one hour drive to the Capital City!

This was my first time to Jerusalem Garden and the experience was great. I was there for lunch on a Thursday in the winter. The food was fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed the Chicken with Hummus and the Falafels. My friends ordered the Shawarma Sandwich and the Kabab Sandwich and everyone was happy with their food. We all had Baklava to finish the meal. The portions were good. The restaurant was well-lit, clean, and not crowded. The restrooms were clean also. They have black t-shirts for sale. See photos.

I have been going here since high school, many many years ago, never was bad service or their food disappointing. Just walking into this place is a breath of fresh air. Try to avoid meal times, they're always packed and a waiting line, always! This place has the best Baba and humus anywhere inside this country.

This place is awesome! A really cool new building and environment as well as delicious food. The place is nice and inviting and the waitstaff we're very pleasent. The tabouli is great and you'd be doing a disservice if you didn't get a side of hummus. The baklava was the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend eating here.

One of the most decent Mediterranean food I've tasted in Michigan. Best part I liked is, quick service. You order and in a couple of minutes your food is at your table. We ordered the chicken shawarma, falafel sampler, fattoush salad with fried pita chips, chicken kabob with pilaf rice, yogurt cucumber dip, toum and hummus. Everything was fresh and nice. I really liked the falafel, ordered them twice. The only thing that I felt could have been better were their fries, probably just our batch, but our fries were really salty! Couldn't enjoy them. But rest of the food we ordered was very close to authentic. Its a nice cosy place tucked in a corner of Ann Arbor. Must visit if you want to have good Mediterranean cuisine.

Our family has been eating at Jerusalem Garden since 1992. The food is always fresh and delicious. Tonight, Cammie rang up our carry out order; she noticed my Grover T-shirt and I told her about our new puppy named Grover! She said she likes to decorate with Sesame Street characters. What a delightful person, you made my day!

I’ve had take out there several times, which was always good. I dined it with two friends yesterday and it was a terrible experience. I didn’t like the atmosphere. I was never served my soda and no one checked on us ONE time. My friend could barely finish her meal becsyy it see she was thirsty and never received a water fill up. I had yo get up and ask for the soda I paid for and ask for tahini sauce, which had no taste. The pita bread wasn’t very good either. Very disappointed.
