Unfortunately this is not at all authentic Indian food. It lacked flavor, consistency was all wrong and the naan was overcooked. Will not order here again
Best hole in the wall Indian food place I’ve eaten at. I got the lamb biryani, my brother in law got the chicken biryani, and they were both delicious! The owner was so friendly and nice too! Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of the food but it was presented very well. Just a warning though, the spice level is a little higher than usually adapted for American dishes but, that’s the fun of it!
The other reviews are extremely misleading, I was profoundly displeased with my experience here because it was lauded as one of the best indian restaurants around. The food lacked almost any flavor and the chef definitely did not cook the food with love as some other people may have you think. I can't believe that this restaurant was called a hidden gem by some because I know for a fact that I will never go back.
Except Naan everything else was a disaster. The malai kofta was burnt and not edible at all. The biriyani was basically white rice and red chilli powder. The chicken was giving out a foul smell. Ended up eating naan and ketchup at home.
We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and the chicken biryani. CTM had cured chicken so tough that even chicken jerky is softer . The chicken Biryani tasted like shallow fried colored rice with dried up chicken. Being from India these are basic dishes hard to screw up but both were just disappointing.
This place is a hidden gem. I don’t really write reviews but I have to for this place! If you are looking for authentic homestyle indian food, THIS IS the place!!!!! The owner of this place is an absolutely amazing person and has such good heart!! He puts so much love and care into making everything that he prepares and that is what sets the food here apart from all the other indian restaurants! He genuinely cares for his customers! I HIGHLY recommend this place!!I got the mix vegetables with rice and parantha and it was delicious!!! He didn’t have mix veg on the menu and he made it specially for me!
We stopped in a few weeks ago after a visit to the University of Michigan Medical Center, and we were so glad that we did. The food was delicious and the servings were large -- enough for leftovers at the hotel that evening. We would definitely like to stop in again the next time we're in Ann Arbor. Everything is made to order in a cozy little spot not more than a mile or two from the hospital. Recommended.
A hole in the wall for fairly good Indian food away from the bustling downtown area. They were out of bone in chicken biryani and take out seems to be a better option as most people did.
Not currently taking online Orders, computer broken. Good food though.
Its great, everything is good, and it's hot so my kids hate it. plan on takeout. Little dingy but they are working on it, owners run it and are fun to talk to.
