I have visited Grizzly many times in the past and always enjoyed it. However this weekend I came in with a few friends from work and we were denied alcohol on account of Sarah “not feeling safe” giving us drinks. We had each had one single beer prior to coming - not been remotely drunk. However Sarah was incredibly rude from the start and first informed us she wouldn’t let one of the girls in our group order a shot when she asked and then she informed us (upon bringing the food which we were charged for) that the beers we ordered would not be coming either. It was ridiculous - we came to grizzly to get drinks and the food was a side and they didn’t tell us we wouldn’t be getting drinks until the food came so that we had to pay for that anyway. I will never be coming back to Grizzly. The fact that she consciously put in the food orders and not the drinks without telling us just so we had to pay for the food? It’s one thing to deny the drinks - while I don’t understand her decision since we were not even drunk, that is her perogative. But to not tell us until we already have the food so we have to pay but don’t get what we ordered? Be warned. Grizzly is not a place you want to go.
They were really fast and the pizza was my favorite of all the items I had surprisingly. 8/10 pizza, 5/10 salad (not that it was bad, but you could make better at home), and 7/10 pretzels (not pictured).
We love craft beer and especially highly hoppy beers. We asked the server to suggest a hoppy beer for us and she suggested two. There were four of us so we ordered two of each kind. They were all so weak and flavorless! We thought we were drinking Corona Lite or some super light beer. I can't explain it, but no one liked their beer. On the Great side, though, the waitress was a delight, the cheese curds were wonderful, and the outside seating was very nice.
High-end bar food! The skirt steak was grilled to perfection. The chicken nachos were really good and my wife said that the black beans were the best she ever had. Skip the super expensive places next door and across the street and eat here twice instead! (It's still a pretty penny here, but it's not stupid).
We came in early (5:15) before it gets crowded on a Friday (6ish) and had a great dinner. The food came out super fast, which is great for 3 little kids ? and the service was friendly and the food was just right for Friday night “bar” food. I loved the fried fish (pictured)!
The best service and cheese curds ever! The Kyiv Mule was also wonderful, and a portion of that drink's proceeds go to helping citizens of Ukraine. Not only has Grizzly Peak Brewing always been a favorite, it's great to see they are giving as well.
The veggie pizza was outstanding! The crust was really yummy and soft and the veggies and topping were fresh and flavorful. Also a large pizza was affordable ($15 and could easily serve 2.
They have some good beers and great food here. Was nice for a quick stop over restaurant week!
We ended up grabbing a bite to eat here while out with friends. It was nice to see how spacious the dining area is, to ensure being able to be seated and not worry about a wait. Our food arrived quickly and everything was absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and accommodating.Really looking forward to trying other items on their menu in the future!
New menu, but just as good. The standard side chips are so good, you needn't upgrade.
