as far as i know the owner used to be a chemist and you can taste it in thier cooking! i love everything from here from the scrambled tofu eggs to the ladoo desert. i dont know many of the names of dishes but i'm not vegan and its all tasty.
Every single item on the menu is fantastic. The quality of the food by itself would merit Earthen Jar 5 stars, but the genuine kindness of the staff makes it a one of a kind establishment. Each meal is prepared with care, and are mostly vegan so it’s an all around great place. Highly recommend!
Great Indian food. I am not a vegetarian but did not miss meat at all. Wish I got another meal instead of going to some other underwhelming places that start with a Z
Delicious! Our favorites were the masala dishes (paneer and tofu) as well as the broccoli and naan. Banana pudding also a win. Seating available outside. Quick to get food from time of ordering.
I have loved eating at Earthen Jar for years and still do! Their food is wholesome, healthy, and delicious. I eat here as often as I can, and always indulge in one of their vegan & gluten free baked goods. A must try!
Earthen Jar is one of my favorite restaurants in town. Very friendly to vegetarians and vegans, though I’ve been eating there well before I stopped eating meat. The food tastes so good and is extremely filling. It’s one of the few restaurants in this town that I hope never goes away. It’s a gem for sure! Stop reading and go!Favorites: masala tofu, aloo bhujia, and sag daal and some delicious donuts.
Delicious!!! First time having Indian food and I can't wait to go back!
Always-always great quality with pricing by weight that makes sense. They have limited items on the menu so you don’t get confused about what to order.Must try for vegetarians in Ann ArborMy personal favorite is banana pudding.
The food, prices and service were all excellent.
Super tasty food. Full of color and flavor. Must try in Ann Arbor.
