First time here in ages. Looked at the website menu to decide on what we wanted for takeout when I got to the Restaurant. The prices on the website are not what you'll find when you get to Don Juan.. Taco Salad w/ avocado slices on the website: $10.99. In the Restaurant: $12.13. The salads had great presentation when I opened up the containers when arriving home. Ingredients were fresh. The Dinner Salad looked small (like a luncheon portion) but it was satisfyingI I love to eat the shell and this one was very good. So.....we'll be back for the food and friendly Staff but will take a closer look at the prices.
The food was ok but nothing that wowed me.I ordered Enchiladas Supreme which has 4 enchiladas (chicken, beef, cheese, been)The been was not good at all, the cheese was ok, didn’t like the flavor of the beef but the chicken was really good.Also got desserts which was the best part, their desserts were really good and I liked the churros so much.
The pollo loco is my favorite. I love the mix of grilled vegetables including zucchini, onion, mushrooms, and tomatoes. The guacamole is also fantastic with just the right amount of spice. The food here always tastes fresh, and you can tell it's made with care and pride.
We live in St. Clair Shores and was visiting Ann Arbor. Found this place. Food was excellent! When we come back to A2, will definitely be going back to the place!
Great experience. Great price. Not from around here. Was visiting & damn. Mad this location isn’t in Columbus Ohio. Good job Michigan. You impressed me again. And the food was amazing. Wish I could come visit more. Thank you so much.
Do you like to be lied to, neglected and ignored by your waitress and served cold, overly salted food?Showed up during happy hour when draft beer is half price but was told by our waitress that they had nothing on draft, so we ordered bottled. Just a few moments later another table was served a round of draft beers. Cute. Ordered chicken chimichangas that has a choice of rice or beans. Asked for rice but got refried beans anyway because who cares. Food came out cold through and through and was ridiculously salty. We asked for hot sauce but waitress never came back. Taco Bell has better food and service!
My husband and I have eaten here twice. The food is excellent and the service is friendly.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Michigan.I eat here with my family all the time, my favorite order are the taquitos which are so delicious, and a horchata for a drink. Creamy, sweet, cold, and filling. Of course they have a very VERY large and unique menu, there is something for everyone even kids or people with less eclectic taste.I recently started getting doordash because my dad had eye surgery and can’t go out to eat much anymore. I noticed drinks weren’t on the doordash menu (which I didn’t even consider an issue). I called the restaurant hoping to pay and include a horchata for my DD order. A very well spoken gentleman answered the phone and immediately apologized for not having it on the doordash menu (which I totally didn’t see as a problem), he then thanked me for ordering with them through doordash and included a FREE horchata with my order. I not once even said I was going to pay, he insisted!I got everything correct in my order, hot and fresh. The drink was delicious and cold too. It was all just as delicious as it was in the restaurant and my dad was ecstatic with his as well.All in all I just want to say thank you to Don Juan for the outstanding customer service and meal preparation. It’s been rough lately and just small things like this make a big difference for people. Keep it up! We will be eating here for a very long time and I suggest it highly to anyone in the area.
