Used to love it here. Until they started closing on random weekdays. I’m here at 12pm on Wednesday supposedly the sign says they should be open. They are not. It has been like this quite frequently unfortunately
Dimo's was an experience. The owner was a really interesting man, mean in the most lovely way (aka you can tell its good hearted). As for the sandwich, omg! I'm a big pastrami fan and have had it at Deli's all over the country and it was done right here! The portion size was huge as it should be and the cole slaw was pretty solid also.
Easily best sandwich shop in Ann Arbor. Wualitu donuts too. Way better food than Zingerman’s and a fraction of the price too.
I almost don't want to review this place because it's so special and always packed.....but it's an A2 gem. Just go and get a Sammy and doughnut ?

Loved Dimos. He is a beautiful person . Best quality food prepared right before your eyes. Great short order. Business is now for sale. I wish him the best in retirement he deserves a gold ? ribbon . Excellent location and built in Clientele to prospective buyers. Deli/donut Gold mine!
Great food. Had breakfast here with my girlfriend. Just as a forewarning, take time to decide what you want before approaching the counter. You'll understand why if you ever go.
Walid, the owner, is a piece of work. He's incredibly rude and obnoxious. He offers insults back to back and berates every customer. Many let him get away because they think he's harmless and are used to him. But that shouldn't give him Cart Blanche to be spiteful and ride every minute.Don't take your children to hear him cussing many customers and his disrespectful behavior. Don't support him because he exists! Him him where it hurts the most: his pockets, so he learns a lesson. That's the only way he may change.I am disgusted by his attitude and will NEVER go there again. I hope you won't either.
