Flavorful! Generous portions! Unique but not unrecognizable takes on a lot of classic dishes. In contrast to most dining experiences, there were just too many delicious vegan things to choose from! As a visitor to Ann Arbor it was heartwarming to see SO many people sitting outside enjoying cruelty free food. ?? ??

I had a bad experience at Detroit Street Filling Station. The cup they gave us is dirty, because I noticed a very obvious lipstick mark on my cup ( I don’t wear lipstick). I told the server about it but she’s like only gave a perfunctory glance. She does not feel sorry about it and just ask whether we need a box to go. The food is good, but the service was not pleasant.

We chose the restaurant because the food on the tables looked so good. Had no idea it was vegan. And once we sat down, our very nonvegan family had second thoughts. But luckily we decided to stay. We all loved our meals and would definitely come back.

Delicious food. Great location. Really clearly marked menu for dietary restrictions/preferences. Kind and attentive staff.

We stopped here on a road trip through Michigan. Our party had someone with food allergies and this restaurant took great care to accommodate them. The food was amazing and extremely affordable for a vegan place. I would drive 2.5 hours from home just to come here again

Not a bad item on their menu.Food is all fantastic.I recommend the power up bowl, burrito, works greatest wrap and definitely get the whoopie pies, if they aren't sold out. They are great community partners helping those in need as well as hiring those who need a second chance. This place rules.

I am not vegan and this is my favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor. I literally check their specials every day at work.If they have specialty cauliflower wings, order them. You will never regret it.

This was my first time to a vegan restaurant. I was worried that I might not get full without meat or that the food would be bland and boy, was I wrong. I was so full and satisfied. I had a spiked horchata and hot coffee, soup du jour (creamy vegetable), lumberjack salad w/everything on it, and some chik'n fingers. It was AMAZING, OUTSTANDING and HIGH QUALITY. I could tell that the freshest of ingredients were used in everything. Honestly the food was amazing, required no additional seasoning (and I always have to put some salt or some pepper or some hot sauce on something), and came out relatively quickly. Everything was extremely nutritious and not greasy or too salty. I ate around 3:00 pm and am still full at almost 9:00 p.m. Everything was amazing. I love this place and will be back again and again. The bathrooms were clean and water was hot. I also really appreciated the Black Lives Matter flag and signage.

I’m never disappointed with this place! As a non-vegan I’m always impressed with what they have and never feel like I’m missing out on flavor/protein options. I especially love the grilled cheese (cashew cream cheese and raspberries), pad Thai (best in aa!), and the power bowl (my moms favorite meal ever).

Ordered from our phones using the QR linked menu on the table. Fully vegan menu has varied delicious options. I had the raspberry caprese sandwich, and the “cheese” wasn’t melted as one might expect with dairy cheese, but it was as delicious and satisfying as any sandwich anywhere. Also got the mint lemonade. I opted for soup on the side but I wish I’d gotten the tots because my friend had those and they were incredible.
