Stumbled across this restaurant & decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed, great service,, delicious Pho & Vietnamese fried rice. Would definitely recommend Dalat
I walked in and ordered takeaway papaya salad, spring rolls and a vegetarian seitan dish recommended by the person taking my order when I asked about the catfish on the menu and was told they didn’t have it.I drove home, about 20 minutes from the restaurant and discovered that instead of papaya salad I received a pile of shredded cabbage with a few pieces of seitan on top. It was terrible. The spring rolls were tasteless, consisted of rolled up lettuce. The seitan dish was mediocre as well. I called at 8:00 pm to tell them I hadn’t received my papaya salad and got a recording stating they were closed even though closing time is listed as 8:30. Vietnamese food is my favorite cuisine and I have eaten it many times but never any food as lousy as this.
The food was lacking in flavor. We we’re really excited after reading all the reviews but nothing really excited us. We had the shrimp rolls, shredded chicken salad, and beef noodle soup.
Loved our food! (32 and 33). We were joking because a restaurant we went to a few weeks ago described the food as a Chinese pancake and it ended up being a tortilla but this was a homemade crepe.
Right when I got to Michigan I found out I had covid and had to get a hotel. I decided to make the best of it and try some of the places near my hotel. Tonight's restaurant was a great choice.I got the chicken pho and a Banh Xeo (#10 and #32) and they were both amazing! I don't know why these random people are complaining because this place is great. The pho was super flavorful and the Banh Xeo was super crispy even though I had to order it all for takeout. You can actually taste the quality and pride put into the food! They even accomadated me with curbside pickup which made things a lot easier.I hope to be back here in the future to try other things on their menu!
My girlfriend and I have both never had Pho and she wanted to check it off her list. We drove a half hour, maneuvered through the stop-go evening rushes of Ann Arbor, and settled into this adorable, underrated place. For $36 (pre-tip) we bought two refreshing shrimp-lettuce rolls, two bowls of beef pho, and a honeydew smoothie. That smoothie was amazing, we ate our fill of pho and there was still some left over, and the taste of it was delicious.
This is one of my favorite go to restaurants. The lunch Bento boxes are all good. I also like Option H which is a stir fry. My kids are always happy if I come home with take out from here. I love the sauce flavor that is mixed in the dishes. The service has always been fine. The restaurant is clean. Highly recommend. A true hidden gem.
Great vegetarian options! Very quick service and everything tasted amazing.
Delicious, fairly priced Vietnamese food. My parents have been coming to Dalat since they were college students and when they were located in Ypsilanti so I've been coming here since I was a baby. I'm still a regular and can always count on great food! Would highly recommend.
