Even after multiple posts about unfriendly staff and and suboptimal customer service, there is still not an improvement. Especially Scott .. his name is even called out in several of these posts, yet he still works there! We used to love going to this place about 3 years ago - we were greeted by energetic and kind people who actually remembered our order from previous visits! Things seemed to go downhill about 2 years ago.BUT today was the last time I will go there. Scott was there again, being snarky and making it seem like we were a "bother."

This place used to be good, but recently my bagels aren’t even getting toasted and when I order the upsold hash brown bagel, it’s basically just a plain bagel with three tiny spots of cheese. Hopefully they improve and I will change my rating. I get they are busy but it’s these little things that make the bagel good for me - otherwise it’s just cheese hastily slapped between two cold pieces of plain bread.

Good variety of bagel options. Always consistent food, staff is abrupt and not friendly.

Food was good, but service sucked. Felt like I was bothering them but showing up. Not a great experience considering I went out of my way to go here.

Not impressed with this place at all! Came here after my wife looked up local places to eat in Ann Arbor. We ordered through the app for curbside pickup. Parked at the curb and checked in... Waited for a half hour before I decided to call the store and find out where my order was. Especially since I had seen multiple people go in and come back out with their food after we were sitting there. The woman who answered the phone was rude and was very lazy with her speech. I could barely understand her. Then she asked me if I called to check in. I said no, I checked in through the app. Any way, long story short, my brisket bagel was cold and not "New York" big at all. It was lame. And my wife had a rosemary olive bagel that lacked any of the before mentioned. Tim Hortons is way better than this place.

The crew that just served me did an excellent job, I can’t remember the last time I had such fantastic customer service! And of course the bagels and cream cheese are the best, ya can’t beat’em, no better bagels and cream cheese in the metro Detroit area.

They have very tasty bagels and their cream cheese is really good. My only complaint is that even when you get it well toasted, it’s still not toasted enough and feels doughy. I might get the cream cheese on the side and toast it at home next time.

The scott guy is a real problem, I’ve seen him be mean to a lady just because she wanted plain cream cheese. She was being very polite. He was mad because he had to go to the back to get it. Then he just threw all the cream cheeses in the cooler and threw the box they were in on the floor. The manager sees this but says nothing to him, there has to be accountability here somewhere. Food is good but the service should be improved by making a change.

The Food is delicious, the variety is great, and the cooks are very friendly and nice. However, Scott, who seems to be a big problem at this store, lived up to the reviews. He was rude, impatient, and pushy. My partner had never had brueggers before and didn’t want an everything bagel but he didn’t give her the time to pick a different one, resulting in her not liking it and buying the same sandwich with a different bagel. When he saw me come in to buy a different sandwich, he shook his head and was (somehow) even more rude than the first time. While we waited for our food, he was incredibly snarky and whiny to a mom of two who was trying to get her order ready from her kids while he sat there rushing her and being pushy about what to get. Overall, this store would be great if not for him. As I know I’m not the first to say this, I can only hope something is eventually done about it. He is not the person you want as the face of your store.

The food is always amazing due to the line cooks. They do an amazing job. The customer service is just awful. The older gentleman named Scott is always giving me and my friends attitude and is very aggressive. The way he treats customers who are a person of color is frankly alarming compared to how he treats non people of color. The service a white couple will receive from this older gentleman is drastically different from the service me and my colored friends get. He always seems to target our group every Sunday and treat us with no respect or kindness. We come very often but unfortunately will no longer be coming to this establishment and will be sharing our experience with our community members. It’s sad to see such a great business be dragged down by one man. I see other reviews about the same gentleman and it does not seem like management cares enough to do anything about it. I’m astonished to see this kind of customer service especially in Ann Arbor. Save your money and go elsewhere.
