Excellent service from start to finish! Delicious food and amazing customer service. The owner Benny even offered to carry my 7 month old fussy Nephew and carried him the entire time while we savior their delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes a family atmosphere while being treated like a royalty. Will definitely revisit this place if visiting Ann Arbor again!
In Ann Arbor for a concert and looking for a place to have breakfast that didn’t aim to be a “dining experience,” just a good old-fashioned diner/family restaurant style meal. Benny’s fit the bill on all counts. Good, friendly service, good food, and prices as reasonable as can be found these days. The restaurant was also extremely clean, which is less common than you would think. Also, the eggs were actually cooked correctly, i.e., over medium = the whites were done and not runny, but the yolk was still dippy. I rarely manage this at home and can count on one hand - possibly one finger - the number of restaurants I’ve been to that get it right. All in all, Benny’s was exactly what we were looking for, and we’ll be back for breakfast tomorrow befor heading home.
Benny’s is classic diner vibe and food. Perfect for a nice breakfast or brunch. Food is pretty average diner food for a decent value.
Came here on my lunch break and had a very friendly waitress. They have healthy and vegetarian options here. Had the veggie gyro, and it was quite good. Would definitely come back!
Came in Hongree.Asked for Coffee and a Southern Omelet. I got stuffed for just over 12bucks. Good value. Thank you folks!
Great service! Super sweet servers and really tasty food. My 17 yr old son and I enjoyed the Gyro with fries, breaded mushrooms for appetizer, baby Greek salad and Stir Fry Vegetables over rice with pita. We will definitely come again when visiting.
I can explain their business model: provide low prices using cheap ingredients. If you're ok with bottom of the barrel quality, then this place is a decent deal. I would HIGHLY recommend avoiding the biscuits and gravy.
Good breakfast thats all i ever get . The place is never very busy but the staff is a lil cold but i suppose it's a cultural difference it's Russian owned . But its cod in Russia not their fault.? They close very early at 4 so it's more breakfast and lunch spot. The local police seem to love it they always dine there so u KNOW it's safe. But large variety of menu options.not sure on vegan 9r other healthy options it 8s a greasy spoon after all. If it sounds like ur cup of tea enjoy p.s. they do take outs as welo for those who dont like to be seen js
Caveat: we didn't order food. But the service was lovely, and we got a delicious chocolate milkshake. The coffee and hot chocolate were great too!
Wonderful service from a very nice waitress. We ordered coffee, hot chocolate, and a chocolate shake to split. They had real whipped cream!! Wonderful way to start the morning.
