Absolutely incredible! If I could go over a 5 stars I would. Each bao was completely different in flavor, yet all amazing.

Upon approaching this establishment, it dawned on me that it is run by hipsters and punks. Tattooed folx who go by they/them and have autistic fixations on IPAs. Anywhoo , don’t let that scare you away ! For the food is craveable and munchable, like a two bite brownie if it was a bao bun sandwich. The plating made me feel nauseous when I first saw it but it’s a restaurant on wheels so work with them as they gain momentum, traction, and a need for speed. The terrain around the food truck was rocky, and at one point it triggered my PTSD as the rock covered ground felt distinctly like when I was in combat. I would suggest softer terrain materials in order to create a more trauma informed/friendly bao restaurant. I am currently exploring a type of interest called “vore” and I wanted to try the pork’s belly as a way to imagine if I was consumed by a pigs stomach. The experience was lackluster but I would try again in the comfort of my own home where I could provide myself with some physical stimulation as well as wearing clothing that is ultra-constricting to mimick being swallowed/consumed. Either way I still enjoyed the sensation of eating the pork’s belly and I am all in all satisfied with my experience at this establishment.

The owners are incredibly kind and the food is out-of-this-world. Soft, fluffy buns and high-quality buns make for the best bao in the metro Detroit area.

Delicious soft pillow-y bao from a friendly food truck hiding behind York. I ordered the Chashu, Chicken Apple (sub regular mayo), & Shorty, all were fantastic & I would not hesitate to order any of them again but the Chashu was my hands down favorite :)

This is some of the best food I've ever had in my life. I'm stuffed but can't wait to go back.

First time trying them. Absolutely the best I have had yet in Ann Arbor. Wonderful service. Definitely going to come back.

I would say the best Bao buns ever. We tried Mushroom, chashu and spicy pork. The quality was really good. The service was really fast. My most favourite is Spicy Pork. I would definitely visit again.

This was worth the trip! So delicious.

Foodgasms for Foodies. Tucked in the back alley behind York and Rice Wood, you’ll walk up to a trailer with a couple amazing chefs preparing some of the most explosive tasting bao you’ve ever had. The secret ingredient is Love ❤️ My favorite is the Pork Belly, least favorite is the Spam. You won’t be disappointed unless you show up on Sunday or Monday, because they’re closed. Get there at 11:30 , because it’s sold out quickly.

Every item is an blissful experience. Each mouthful is a perfect combination of mouthfeel and flavor! There's nothing more to say except stop reading and go eat.
