I use to buy food from ahmos downtown ann arbor in the early 90's everything was great. I when they opened the location on dexter rd I tried that one the food was terrible as well as the service stone school road was okay for a little while then things took a turn for the worst you don't even want to spend one $ $ there the foods old dried out the salad is all brown and wilted the restaurant always always forget part if your order when you have it delivered like (pita bread for the hummus) when you call to complain they asked do you want another one delivered or do you want to come and pick it it I've already waited 40 minutes for delivery no I don't want to want another 40 minutes nor do I want to come to your store that's why i paid for delivery so that just money given to ahmos for free I've given up on they so whenever I get a taste for Mediterranean food I just Ignore the craving ?
Gyro meat off the spit and zesty feta was delicious. The bread was soft and yumz. Excellent friendly service as well
The last order was horrible. The cook put jalapeños on both of my child's burgers. Both of kids got sick because of this. Do not trust this company with your business or you children's food. They will more than disappoint they will attempt to harm your kids for a laugh.
Everytime I order for lunch, my food is not on time. Today I ordered through DoorDash, it took 3 drivers until my order was ready; therefore, they were 40 mins late with food. I tried calling Ahmos but they did not answer. They never do!I called the DoorDash lady and asked them to please call me, the lady requested I called back…she finally answered blamed it ALL on DoorDash. When the order finally arrived, they forgot a soda, fries, and had the sandwiches messed up-leaving off all items. We ordered chicken sandwiches and fries. It shouldn’t have been that difficult! They are very close to central campus (literally 2 mins) from my work. However, I highly recommend not ordering from this location on Huron!
Wish I could give a better review but for the price of gyro sandwich I expected more. The portion was small, the tzaziki sauce was watery and didn't seem authentic, part of the gyro meat was burnt and the pita hardened or was stale on the 10 min ride home. Very disappointed.
The food is great but the take out service leaves a lot to be desired. I have ordered delivery from here on several occasions the past 4 years and they have gotten the order wrong every time. These are orders over $75 There is always something missing. Not just a side but a whole meal. When you call to complain they offer you a cookie or two. This past time we ordered delivery online and paid for it. we called to make sure they had the order right and were informed they could not deliver so we had to go pick it up. When I said I wanted to be refunded the delivery and tip charge they offered me a cookie. We will not be ordering again.
The food was great, it came quickly, the restaurant was clean, but the best part was Cam. She was so kind and helpful, and very friendly. After leaving a different restaurant because we waited forever for a server, then they actually yelled at us, having Cam smile, greet us, and help us was an exemplary experience and restored our faith in humanity!! Thanks, Cam, for making what started as a bad night out, a fun dinner w friends!
Delicious food. Highly recommend the chili and the chicken gyros. Easy in an out with a car. Great outdoor and indoor seating. Bathroom ? was very clean and sanitized. Awesome view of downtown Ann Arbor.
Great food, always fresh and delicious. Always am pleased with the friendliness of their employees. Come back to Adrian!!
I really tried to like this place... second visit to give them a chance, just in case the first visit caught them on a bad day. The chicken is just so dry and tasteless. The shawarma does not taste good. I feel like I wasted my money. It's like the garlic paste (sauce) is watered down to oblivion. Not giving them a 3rd chance.
