This restaurant is so cute and has really delicious food. The owner even works here behind the counter and she is very friendly. My parents came with into Ann Arbor and treated us to lunch here. The parking lot that is next to the building I think is only for staff, so you park along the street, but it's not really expensive. There is a vast menu of items like salads to sandwiches just frozen yogurt. My dad got the Asian Chicken Salad which is made up of diced chicken breast, mixed greens, red onions, house made croutons, parmesan cheese, dressing, and tomato and a strawberry muffin I think. My mom got a Lemon Chicken Salad, which consists of marinated chicken breast, mixed greens, red onions, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, strawberries, oranges, and pecans and a strawberry muffin I believe. My husband got the (technically discontinued) Beef and Cheddar sandwich and chips. I got the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich and a Passionate Papaya shake. The sandwich consists of pulled pork, coleslaw, on a toasted pretzel roll. The shake is frozen yogurt and papaya. My eldest daughter got a Chicken & Fruit Salad, blueberry muffin, and the Split Personality. The salad is made up of chicken salad, strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple, bananas, apples, oranges, and frozen yogurt. The Split Personality consists of two different frozen yogurt flavors, banana, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, and pecans. My son got a Grilled Cheese, chips and the Berry Patch. It consists of your choice of frozen yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Tons of seating inside and it is decorated very nicely. All the staff is very friendly and very efficient. Very clean and nice bathroom as well. Highly recommend!!
We used to come to Afternoon Delight literally every day before the pandemic - it is one of our favorite restaurants in Ann Arbor! It has been a while since we last visited, so we decided to come back again today. We found the food to be delicious as always, top quality and the portions truly generous. The owner, Mrs Williams, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My wife really loves the Smoked Nova Salmon Eggs Benedict - during the weekday it is served with english muffin, but on the weekend it is specially accompanied by their signature potato pancake. The addition of capers perfectly complements the creamy bearnaise sauce, making it refreshing and well balanced. As shown in our photographs, the poached eggs appear even with running yolks - magnificent :-). The Avocado Toast AD style is composed of whole wheat bread, light, moist and creamy. I normally order a large tossed salad, which includes one of Afternoon Delight's famous muffins, which in my opinion are the BEST in Ann Arbor! We will definitely go back again soon.

Been coming here for 20+ years and absolutely loved it. Very cozy, at home feel with delicious food. The past 5-6 times I have come here, the same employee has been exceptionally rude to me. I have heard her be rude to other customers as well. It feels like you’re in the principals office getting yelled at, truly awful. I will not be coming back. I like the food and miss what it was, but I don’t feel like getting reamed just to eat a scrambled egg breakfast. I’m sure they have received similar complaints. Disappointed.
I wish I could tell you how yummy this food is.I even want to tell you how everything was essentially pleasant.NOPE!!!!!I came in here today at 915am. It wasn't even busy. They probably have 4 tables. Did they get food yet? I have not an idea. I ordered a breakfast burrito. Now let me tell you this 935am and still no burrito. I asked for a refund.Thank your cook for this one star. They need better time management. So I understand this being super convenient being the only breakfast place really out here. If you all willing to take the trek Northside is the best and there you will have yummy food and great service.Am I willing to take a chance and come back ABSOLUTELY NOPE!
Yummy food! Our first time, so we didn't realize it was cafeteria style ordering. But still good! Just letting others know in case they didn't know that you don't go in and sit and order:).
This has been one of our favorite breakfast spots for many years. The food is absolutely delicious!
Tons of delicious options on the menu and cute diner atmosphere. Ordered at counter and they brought the food out. Very quick service. And just a quick walk to the blake transit center so I could grab a quick bite to eat before heading off to the airport shuttle. Would definitely recommend!
Slightly pricey, but really great quiche with a side of homemade veggie soup for two. Been going there for many years! Bravo owners!
This place is awesome! Paying at the counter is super convenient. After I finished my food I sat at my table then remembered “oh yea I already paid” the sandwich was huge and super good. They also gave me free avocado, soup, and 4 muffins. No extra cost. Clearly they care about satisfying they’re customers above all else. Don’t hesitate to stop by.
