We have been customers of Olga's since the 1970s (way before this location was created), having dined at locations all across Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor. As a teen, I vaguely remember meeting Olga at the Birmingham location. The number of menu items has gone up, but the flavor and quality of the food has gone downhill. It's just so commercialized now. I finally said enough is enough after my last experience with them - everything was so over salted, they forgot to include something in my order and they made it difficult to get a refund for the missing item. We're done with them.
A sign posted on the door said there might be a 20 minute wait due to being short staffed. Fortunately it only took 5. The food was spot on. Service went smoothly thanks to Becky. I was quite happy after getting my Olga's fix..See ya next time I'm in town
It has been a really long time since I ate at Olga's and this visit was for sure not an upset. The food was really good espically the snackers of course! It was actually my first time having the snackers and I feel in love. The food was and service were both good as well. For sure would try it out again.
I was having a bit of a rough day, luckily I ended up with an amazing server. Becky S, or “Becky with the good hair” ? was amazing! She was polite, very fast coming to the table, she had multiple tables and took care of all of us. We didn’t have to once ask for anything. Not only is she a great and hard worker, that you can see for yourself.. But, she also has a great energy about her, and a great laugh & smile. I loved her sense of humor. Felt like she was someone I’d known for years. The food was great and our server was great.
I've been a fan of Olga's for well over 30 years.My experience at this location was very disappointing and even embarrassing because I took relatives there who never eaten there before.The server was not at all interested in receiving a tip. Her manager said she was overwhelmed.She was tipped anyway but we won't be going back there.
Did a phone order for P/U. Gave make and color of our vehicle as requested. Arrived and waited....and waited. Finally pulled into a spot where they couldn't help but see me. Again, waited......and waited. Had to call them to let them know that I was there. Came out, took my debit card and waited.....and waited for them to finally bring our order. Their foods not cheap and unless my wife has a real craving, she can go but I'll never be back.
Wow wow wow I would recommend this location to anyone downriver! Becky the manager was extraordinary. She was attentive to various parts of the restaurant and made sure each table/ guest was satisfied. When she stopped at our table she was very warming and her outlook of positivity brought us up as a family together! But let’s not forget about our server Alexis. She was a 10/10. Her steps of service were impeccable and she was on top of everything we needed. Everything was hot, fresh, clean and fast! We will definitely be back!
This is the best Olga’s location! Our server Patty was awesome! She was very attentive to us, as well as all of the other customers. She was such a hard worker, even with having quite a few tables! Our food was delicious. The manager Chris even came over to make sure our food was good! Thanks for a great dinner!
Food was really good. The prices are pretty fair. The only problem we had was extremely slow service when the restaurant was very busy at all
Best place hands down for spinach pie !! I have tried to replicate it for years and still can't figure out what the secret recipe is ! They also have peasant soup that is a must try ! Simple tasty and delicious!
