Good food & friendly waitress.. ?
As a past employee and the husband of a current employee I have to say these owners are amazing. Never once have they mistreated me or my wife. They are far from cold hearted and honestly the best bosses anyone could ask for. Anyone who doesn't get along with these people need to look at themselves as the problem because it's definitely not a problem within the business. Gus' is a family and everyone that works there is always treated like family. ?
These are two of the best bosses I have ever worked for. They really DO treat their employees like family members!! Its so nice to work in such a kind and friendly atmosphere.... I've worked in the industry for quite some time and I've never had a boss as kind and loving as Maria and George!! So happy to work for and be a part of the Gus and Us "family" ???
I was in Detroit and after church on Sunday May 22nd and few of my Tucker family members at at this restaurant. OMG, the customer service was wonderful. Our waitress was OUTSTANDING. Now the to the food WOW, I got BANANA and STRAWBERRY PANCAKES they were like my mom and dad made me when i i was child. They cooked the bananas in the batter. and topped with Strawberries and whipped cream. Hash browns and sausage links were Phenomenal. Wonderful meal. The other family members food look great. i can't wait to return.

We waited 40 minutes gor our food,people came in after us got their food and was EATING! The waitress finally after 30 min came and said I don't know why it's taking so long ill go check,we stood up to leave and it finally came out the waitress said"I dont blame yall for wanting to leave" SMH after that she never even came back to check on us only to bring the bill,we used to come here often but boy things have changed and not for the better!
I love Gus & Us! I had the spinach salad with Chicken today. It is one of my favorites and I highly recommend. The staff is really friendly and extremely good at what they do.
This is hands down my favorite restaurant in the area, especially for breakfast. Not only is the food great every time, but it’s affordable and they give generous portions. To top that off, the staff is the friendliest and most hospitable staff I’ve ever encountered. They really do make you feel like family. Love this place and I highly recommend it.P.S. Try the mimosas if you’re going in for breakfast. ??
This place serves Greek, Italian and American cuisine. It has a home town feel and the service was superb despite how busy the place was. We thoroughly enjoyed the saganaki which is a flaming Greek cheese appetizer served with pita bread. That in itself was a fun experience and they also offer Greek wine and mimosas on Sunday. Opa!
