I really like this coffee shop. It's a good place to hang out and do homework or to work on things on your laptop. It's a really good spot to meetup with people too. They are also open everyday until 10pm, which is nice.They have some really good coffee flavors as well; flavors of which you cannot get everywhere else. They have this raspberry flavor and cinnamon flavor that I get when I go and it's great.Overall, this place has great coffee and is a good place to meet up.
Little bummed out ? I been looking forward to trying this coffee house out! I ordered a Mocha Frappe!! I been to many coffee houses and the presentation it's better then what I got. I get that all places are different but even photos shared by others from this coffee house, looked cuter then what I got. Don't get me wrong the taste is good but presentation not. Also didn't get a welcome vibe, was not greeted. Frappe taste was 9/10 presentation 5/10 customer service is ok. I'll probably try them out once more since I'm looking for something local to be my go to. Maybe today was just an off day and I did enjoy the taste of my frappe. I'll update once I go again.
Drinks and ice cream are great. Very cool vibe and atmosphere with a staff that is knowledgeable and kind!
Amazing atmosphere for studying or just enjoying a moment for yourself. The girls running it were such great help especially with it being my first time ever ordering from there. They were very intuitive with what I was saying I liked as far as coffee and went well beyond making sure I had the right cup of much needed coffee. I ended up with a iced dirty chi tea latte. And will definitely return for more.
Ambience is fine, coffee is pretty poor. I was sold a “single origin light roast” that is most definitely one of the darkest French+ roasts I’ve ever seen. Tastes like ash and smells like burnt tobacco. The quality has gone down significantly in the few years I’ve been coming. If you get a sugary, syrupped latte or capp, it will taste fine if only because they have used much more milk than needed and the coffee is overpowered.
Me and a friend have been coming here since last year and we love the atmosphere. The vibes is spot on especially when you have amazing baristas and hard working individuals wanting to help make your experience the best ever! Offering suggestions and seeing those smiles knowing they do care. Thank you to the women who works mid mornings, (didn't catch her name, next time I will) she's very helpful and patient when Im not so sure what I want. Also the perfect cup of offee too!!
Environment was okay, little too hippy for me. But my sister the coffee expert said she would never go back here for the price, and i quote from her the tim Hortons down the street does it better i guess. Take that how you will. Staff seem kinda rude to me cause I am no coffee expert and i was asking to many dumb questions about the coffee which seem to aggravate them.
Today, I was mocked there as an artist. Absolutely disgusting that the staff and owner let me be treated this way, which was completely unprofessional. I will collect my art from them soon and never return. They've lost my business and the business of my family and friends, who frequented this establishment a lot. I was also censored as an artist, when my art was neither offensive or sexual. It was based off of what the owner did and did not like. As a woman and member of the downriver community I hope our city does better than this in the future.
Unprofessional and rude staff
I like this place. The setting is very relaxing and urban style. The service is also good. The available options are decent, but there is always some room for improvement.The trash cans are always full and can’t throw anything in them. It would look better if they were not full all the time.Overall, I like the place.
