Miyazaki has the best sushi (and fish in general) that I’ve had since moving to the Worcester area. The environment is quaint and comfortable, with excellent variety of entrees. The fish was incredibly lean and fresh. Their specialty roll selection has some unique and delicious options. Overall very deserving of 5 stars and I will be returning again to try something new. 10/10 would recommend

Best sushi I've had in a really long time.My favorites were the toro scallion roll, toro nigiri sushi, striped bass nigiri, seabass nigiri, and tamago sashimi. The grouper nigiri and miso soup were also really good. I wouldn't waste time going to any other sushi restaurant in the area.

This place is unreal. Best sushi in Worcester plus BYOB. Ordered the yellowtail jalapeño and the Miyabi- sooooo good.

The best sushi I've had in the United States.Finding a place that feels like a true Japanese tavern is quite difficult, but the size and intimacy of Miyazawa capture it perfectly. I can't speak to all the menu items, but the food I tried was extremely accurate to what I've eaten in Japan. The only point of concern is that there are few enough tables that you'll likely want a reservation on the weekend. It's BYOB and you can ask for chilled glasses, meaning with the extremely fair prices of the sushi you can have an extravagant night of eating with little damage to your wallet.

Would recommend reservation because they seem pretty busy even on a Sunday night. We arrived very early without reservation but were able to get the bar seats. The onigiri omakase I got is delicious! Even though the uni was sold out for single order, I was very excited when they told me it’s included in the omakase. Def would come back if I’m in the area again.

An amazing hidden gem in Worcester!! The place looks super homey and cozy. The prices are fantastic ($38 for 8 pretty largely sized nigiri; it always makes me full) and it’s the best quality I’ve had for fish in the area! The soups are also sooooo good (highly recommend the fish soup with rice and salmon - it comes as a super cute set where you pour the soup into the rice and salmon). The maki are also very popular though I haven’t had the chance to try it yet. In terms of nigiri, they usually have fantastic quality eel, salmon, scallop, uni, and raw shrimp. At times the tuna is absolutely amazing too. It’s now one of my new favorite spots and it really feels like a slice of authentic Japan.

Fresh and delicious with classic fare and unique special rolls. The staff was friendly and hardworking and the ambience was casual but charming, with authentic decor and soft lighting.

I would like to give the food 4 stars if the service were better. After we arrived, the only waitress was busy doing things until another customers arrived, whom obviously know the place better. They started to order food directly from the chefs and the waitress went to serve them right away. After helping them with their order, the waitress was still too busy for us and it took her a while to finally bring water to our table. It’s ridiculous to see people came in after us have food on their table while we were still waiting for our service. Very bad impression.

Definitely recommend. Did an early Valentines Day at the restaurant and the sushi was fabulous. Truly a hidden gem.

A lovely sushi place with a sushi bar and a few tables. You may want to make a reservation, but we did not have to. They have great, fresh, quality food, served simply and done well. In addition to the sushi and sashimi, they do have a selection of other items like gyoza (which were flavorful and lacy) and shumai. A small but nice selection of teas. The fish is really the reason to go, though. I had the chirashi sashimi plate and it was delicious. They have some interesting rolls too; the Worcester roll is very tasty. The price is also quite reasonable for the quality you're getting.
