Our server, Adam, was great and his drinks were good. We arrived at 4 for an early dinner so the dining room was empty, but the food was phenomenal, especially the filet mignon.
Service was very very slow but good. Food is way overpriced for what you are getting. Little imagination when it came to using seasonal produce. Steaks were well over done or had just been left on the warmer too long
We came to Sonoma to eat after the bereavement. The manager brought us wrong food to the table, didn’t apologize or explained what happened. Instead of handling the situation with our table when we called her couple of times she was too busy entertaining a gentleman in a suite who’s CEO or the owner. Worst customer service, manager and the food wasn’t worth the money. Never coming back.
Not very professional management, I witnessed one of the managers scolding one of the servers because of her not knowing how to fix things on the computer. We felt so bad we ended up getting up to tip the sever because of how the management was treating her. Will not be returning. VERY poor management to treat their employees in this manner
Ruined Mother's Day. Sonoma is a sad, embarrassing shell of its former self. We made a reservation for breakfast to celebrate Mother's Day but a reservation was not necessary since we were told we could sit at any of the available dirty, unbussed tables. After ten minutes we were "greeted" by an annoyed waitress who told us that we had to wait for her to take orders from two other tables then walked away. Didn't give us menus or offer coffee. We decided to leave. What was once an amazing restaurant is now a second-rate hotel restaurant better suited for a Holiday Inn Express than the Beechwood Hotel.
we made a mothers day reservation for 9:30am. we were told to seat ourselves by a kitchen hand. we waited 25 mins before I flagged down a waitress who said "I'll tell your server" waited an additional 25 minutes before we just left. never received water or beverages or menus. no one ever came over to our table. I only saw one waitress. there were only Maybe 8 tables with people. the place was practically empty. no one was working. for mothers day. thanks for wasting our time
What happened to Sonoma's? Years ago this was a fabulous place. The food was awful! And it was understaffed. I will not be returning unfortunately.
Waited 45 min. to order. Finally had to flag down the one waitress who was trying to manage all the tables on Mother’s Day. We had reservations but there was no hostess and no one checking reservations. We were told to just find a seat. Food was OK. This used to be one of the best restaurants in the city. Beautiful place and atmosphere. Very sad to see it how it is now.
We made mothers day reservations. No one sat us. We were there for 50 minutes, never received water. No one ever checked on us. After 25 minutes I waved down a waitress, she said "I'll tell your server" well 25 minutes later we still didn't see anyone. We left. Happy mothers day
My wife and I were huge fans of Sonoma when it was in Princeton but hadn't had the opportunity to visit at the new location in Worcester. I decided to make reservations for Mother's Day breakfast for my wife, two children, and I. A huge mistake. Sonoma is the worst kind of hotel restaurant. Understaffed despite being almost empty, a reservation was not necessary as we were informed to take our pick of an available table. All were dirty and had not been bused. We picked the least dirty table and after a ten minute wait, the waitress stopped at our table and told us we had to wait for her to wait on two other tables before she could get to us then walked away without providing menus. We left.
