It's been hard to find a good Puerto Rican restaurant in MA other than Vejigantes so we decided to give this place a try. I was blown away by the service! Fundador was with us tonight and made us feel right at home. Husband ordered the Passion fruit mojito which was very good! Appetizer was an empanadilla de pizza which was yummy as well. Main course I had the Churrasco (skirt steak) with mofongo and chimichurri sauce and my husband had the beef steak. Food was really delicious and had a good portion. The mofongo which was what I was most excited about tasted very fresh, soft and not greasy which I enjoyed (some people tend to make them dry). Loved the vibes of the place and the overall ambiance. The only feedback I would give is to add more garlic and olive oil to the mofongo cause I feel it was missing that kind of "bam" flavor punch that you would typically expect from Puerto Rican cuisine and to please add piña coladas to the menu since they were invented there but overall great potential and we'll be back!
Absolutely the best Puerto Rican restaurant in the area. If you want to feel like your right in mom or grandma’s kitchen this is the place to stop by doesn’t matter breakfast, lunch or dinner! The owner Natalie Rodriguez and her staff was absolutely phenomenal. The food was even better. From eating dinner to attending an event and her staff understood the assignment. Everything was on point and too the T. I can’t thank them enough for this experience while in town visiting for a business trip. I was told this was the best place for some good Puerto Rican food and boy ole boy was they right. I recommend this place for anything just a night out to eat with the family or if you want to host an event. From weddings to sweet 16’s to just a business meeting and lunch you name it she will bring your vision into reality. I look forward to coming back soon when I’m in Massachusetts again this is and will be my go to spot. This historical Bull mansion is amazing. Thank you ?? It was our first time at la Nuestra and it did not disappoint! I'm married to a Puerto Rican so I know good food made with love. The passion fruit juice was on point the Medalla nice and cold just how I like it. The food was delicious for both of us. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we need it. The owner even asked how things were after our meal. The prices were fair compared to other establisments. The parking situation is tricky since is busy but is to be expected give yourself time to find. We are definitely going back for a full dinner since they only had brunch today! ???
The food was ok but not worth its price, the presentation didn’t do it for me at all. my meat in a glass too was really unappetizing, seemed like a waste of glassware, and they only had like 60% or less of the menu available.
