Caprese, house salad and gnocchi were quite good. Parking in the neighborhood can be tough on busy nights, though they did offer valet, and the waitstaff wasn’t exactly friendly. But I’d return
Thank you Robin for the phenomenal service!I was so excited to dine here with one of my good friends. So many people have recommended this place to me and we finally stopped in.Unfortunately I didn’t have the same experience…. I wasn’t crazy about the food. Here’s how I felt about what I got tonight:The Number 19 drink: 7/10. It was very sweet and tasty. Would have loved to have it over ice to kind of balance the sweet and keep it cold.Clams Casino: 2/10. It just wasn’t there for me… I love them at 111 and these didn’t compare.Veal Piccata : 4/10. The veal was so tough and chewy. Not the melt in my mouth experience I was looking forward to. The Piccata sauce is yummy though.Meatball and Ricotta. Meatball 5/10 seemed harder in the middle. Also didn’t get the melt in my mouth experience I was looking forward to. The Ricotta though??? 10/10… it was something I could eat alone with a spoon. Amazing.Tiramisu: Eh. 4/10. It was dry and so we paired it with the Nutella Mousse that made it better. My friend had a meal with gnocchi and mozzarella: she didnt eat much of it. None at all really. It was odd how the cheese was so hard in the center of the meal rather than oozing. …She also got the stuffed risotto balls which was to have different cheeses in there with peas and ham chunks. There wasn’t any ham and seemed to be just mozzarella and peas. Good if advertised this way, but it didn’t meet the expectations of how it was described on the menu.Robin handled our grievances with grace and heard us out. We tried the almond torte which was her suggestion and wow!!Although we didn’t really have an experience that met our expectations… we will be back so she can lead us in the right direction, and give it another try! Thank you thank you thank you!
It was Mother's Day and we didn't have a reservation anywhere so I began googling restaurants near me. What a nice surprise! From the Valet that greeted us to the host, hostess and waitstaff, they were all very friendly and attentive! We started with a salad and it didn't skimp on anything! We both had spaghetti, meatballs and sausage. All were great and I was especially impressed with the gravy (sauce)! It was very tasty! We finished with raspberry sorbet which didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Walking in to sit at the bar for dinner we were greeted immediately by Armondo, the bartender. He was very attentive with a friendly sense of humor and selected a nice Amarone for us to go with dinner. We started with tuna carpaccio. Excellent! The veal picatta was one of the best I have ever had anywhere and the homemade pappardelle was cooked absolutely perfect. Same for the veal marsala. The place is a gem!
This place is amazing! Small and quaint. Unbelievable delicious food. Specials are always interesting! Kid friendly, but bring those that can behave and not run around…. Staff is great. I give this place an A-. I give it an A- because in the two years my wife and I have known about this hidden gem inside a Worcester neighborhood (parking can be difficult), but they do “sometimes” have valet, we are confused when we call to reserve a table. Sometimes we can, and other times we are told they don’t take reservations…….
Excellent service and the food is to die for. My only regret is that I didn't go sooner!
Amazing atmosphere, food and service! Highly recommend.
Amazing on all levels! Very authentic and I felt like I hopped a palne and was in Italy! Delizioso food and staff was professional and very friendly! Highly recommend this place…
So I'm a bit torn. Many of the dishes were delicious. Meatball, pasta, calamari, gnocchi, etc. However the scallops were burnt... You can even tell in the picture. They were gracious to make a new batch, but I think they used the same pan because even though it didn't look burnt it tasted burnt/smokey. Maybe go with the other dishes and get the risotto on the side of you want it.
WOW, hands down, the best Italian food I've ever had. Me and my boyfriend sprung the extra 4 bucks for the homemade pasta and it did not disappoint. I got the boleneges sauce since they were able to make it daory free for me and he got the eggplant parm and it was amazing.
