Breakfast never disappoints here. Service is fairly quickly and food is tasty. The chicken and waffles were delicious.
Apple crepes... Oh emmm jeee... More like apple pie for breakfast. Definitely great a table for brunch and enjoy great food in a place with a great vibe.
First time coming here. Reminds of a in home restaurant from the south. Was greeted at the door, faces wasn't as pleasant. Carley treated us well, did not want for anything. Food was amazing, I got the chicken and waffles, very good portion. My fiancée had the salmon omelet meal, she enjoyed it. We had a good experience we shall return. Definitely recommend.
Great food and our waitress was awesome! Loved the family friendly atmosphere. The Mickey Mouse pancake was perfect for our little one and there was plenty of food and drink specials too! We will definitely be back
Menu just ok. Food was good when we finally got it made the way it should be. We ordered corn beef hash with (loose) poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. My eggs we done medium, hubby’s were good. We had to ask for the hollandaise sauce because it came without. The waitress argued with me that it was on the eggs. It wasn’t. She told my husband she would “bring us more.” She brought out one small cup full for him. I again had to ask for some and got the same response. Had to pay extra for toast. Receipt came in itemized.Not a place we would return to. Only have 3 stars because food was ok.
I went for breakfast and had an omelet. It was very good. The waitress was very attentive. I would definitely recommend.
I have always loved this place but I got breakfast today after not going for a couple of years and my crepe was burnt, the salmon was like just a cooked piece of salmon in the crepe(in the past it was smoked salmon/raw), and they forgot my orange juice. To top it off my mom and I have both been feeling not well in the stomach for the rest of the day. Used to be my go to brunch spot but I will not be returning.
Great place!!! My daughters took me there for my birthday day. I will definitely go again sooner than later.
Don't ever go here! Worst customer service ever. Be aware that there is a horrible new owner as of the last few months, so don't go by any reviews previous to this new ownership. The old owner was wonderful, this one is horrible. I used to love Livia's and went there quite often with friends. I will never recommend or step foot in this place again!! I had no idea this business had a new owner. No wonder all of the regular previous staff left. Our waitress was wonderful but the young girl, who claimed she was the owner, was horrible. I was there with 3 other women. We had brunch and I paid with a $50 Livia's gift card, plus cash. I had the gift receipt and gift card which specifically stated it was for use at Livia's Dish, 1394 Main St; Worcester, MA. The "owner", who was very nasty and rude, told us that she would not honor the previous owners gift cards. We tried to explain that she was in violation of the law and she had to honor it, especially since the name and address of the business was on the gift card. She then began yelling at us, telling us that we would have to go to the previous owners other business to use the gift card there (different business name and place). This "owner" then called the previous owner, who is obviously a relative/friend of this new "owner", since she had her number on her cell phone. She wanted us to speak with the previous owner so that the she could tell us to come to her other business to spend the gift card. Well, that was ridicuous and not going happen! We already ate here. It became clear to us that this new "owner" was unstable and irrational, as her volatile demeanor and manner made it impossible to have a rational conversation with her. We paid our bill with cash and the gift card and advised this woman that we paid our bill and we were leaving. (Note: We did hand the waitress a $20 cash tip, which was over a 30% tip, and thanked her.) This "owner" chased us out to the parking to harrass us, by yelling at us and embarrassing us in front of other customers, making a scene and screaming that we left without paying the bill and she was calling the police. We told her we would be happy for her to call the police because what she was doing was illegal and she was now trying to intimidate us. Needless to say, after her ranting and raving and chasing us down the street, she did not call the police because she knew we did nothing wrong. Myself and my friends were very respectful and never raised our voices to her, even when this "owner" was extremely out-of-control and verbally abusive towards us. Myself, and my friends who are in their 70's, have never been subjected to such unproffessional and abusive treatment from a business owner. My friend did speak with the previous owner, who appologized for the terrible treatment we received. She stated that she would Venmo the $50 to this new, irrational, owner. Why didn't this happen in the first place?! I know why, because this new owner obviously has anger control issues and cares nothing about customer service! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE! The fact that she showed such disrespect to my elderly friends is another reason not to give the place your business.
Service is great food is pretty good we had a burger and chicken and waffle well seasoned.
