It’s a nice cozy restaurant in the heart of Worcester. The menu looked amazing but we never got to order. We had drinks at the bar since the sitting was a little bit of a wait.If you’re a person of color;STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.The subtle predjudice in the air is unbelievable. There’s an older waitress standing at the corner eyeing you meanly. I really wanted to try the antipasto or fried mozzarella or lasagna but couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there. It’s saddens me because all money green regardless of skin color .Please do better.
my partner's dish was really good. he got some kind of creamy pasta dish (don't remember the name) and I got shrimp scampi which was sort of bland. I'd go with a creamy pasta dish if you go here.
We went to La Scala with a small group. I had the gnocchi in pink sauce and it was terrible. It had virtually no taste. I had to cover it in salt to make it edible. The atmosphere is ok. The rest of my party enjoyed the food however.
Great service. Food was amazing. The Sweet Chili Cauliflower and the Caprese salad were such good starters that we had to remember to leave room for the entree. Steak and Eggplant Rollitini were well prepared. The Jack Frost cocktail looked like winter and tasted like summer. Great experience.
Was there with a party of 9 people. Service and food was very good.
Great time. Food, prices, atmosphere, all perfect for an easy night out.
Food and service is very good. Reminds me of my grandmother Angelina's cooking. Looking forward to my next dining experience. Keep up the good work.
They posted their name all over as a participant in the taste of Shrewsbury Street. Go there and they tell us that they are not participating. Guess I won't be going here.... EVER!
Do not recommend. Very low quality American cheap interpretation of Italian food. Food was greasy, their outdoor patio was smelly, like we were eating next to a dumpster. Waitress was not very attentive, had to ask for utensils which we did not have even after the food was brought out. Their so called Caprese salad was made with beef-steak tomatoes like the one you get in a cheap sandwich, and there no basil on it. I pointed this out to the waitress. She brought some cheap dry bread before the meal but no olive oil or butter. What kind of Italian restaurant is this ? The owners are educated ppl, but makes me wonder if they had any food experience prior to this restaurant. You need to hire a chef, and while you’re at it your entire restaurant needs an upgrade and some deep cleaning.
Great service and the pasta with meatballs was excellent.
