i never write reviews but this place has been consistently good and i get wonderful customer service from the employees as well. they are fast, have great fresh smoothies, and amazing pastries. my boyfriend and i love the corn muffins!
I’ve been going to this establishment for many years and have had no problems. Unfortunately, there’s apparently a new owner who does not know the meaning of customer service or human decency. My friend, who is a very regular customer, was kicked out of the establishment today and she couldn’t buy from there. It is noteworthy that she is Black. She was seated when the owner went out of his way to single her out, aggressively approach her, and told her to order or leave. Nobody else who was seated and/or waiting to order was similarly approached. She subsequently got in line to order and he aggressively approached her again and told her to leave and that she couldn’t order. This is unacceptable and discriminatory behavior that should not go unnoticed. There is simply no excuse for a customer being treated this way.
I've been frequenting this location for years and have been treated with kindness and respect however lately with the new owner, that cannot be said. On this day, 4/9/22, my friend was discriminated against out of several people that were at in-house. The owner disgraced her in front of several patrons unprovoked whiles she sat and waited to make her order. This manager singled her out and aggressively asked her to leave. I'm verryyy very disappointed in this new management and will spread the word. There are plenty of places I'll take my money and inhouse is not it. in no way is this okay. Inexcusable aggressive behavior towards a black woman. Singled out of the many seated. Unacceptable!!!!P.S. I just read some of the reviews on here and it appears the common denominator of all the negative reviews is the new owner. Not okay
This has become my go-to cafe. They have excellent breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and great drinks. I recommend the iced green tea with cucumber flavor! So refreshing, I won't go back to dunkins anymore because of this spot. The staff is super kind too, they're always so sweet and friendly to me! Don't be deterred by the long lines because they move super fast. There's a reason why it's often very busy, the coffee and service is fabulous!
Awesome local coffee shop with fresh pastries, muffins, bagels and more! Delicious fresh espresso with fantastic staff who really care. Stop by anytime of day and see how many regulars are hanging out, just another reason why this is the best coffee shop on Shrewsberry Street in Worcester!
They aren't too many good places coffee places in worcester open till 8pm. So while on the lookout, I came across inhouse coffee. This place serves great coffee. We have been going their every week. They have some really good options to flavour your coffee. They also seem to have a great variety of teas. I am always on the lookout for good bagels and this place has some really good and fresh ones. They also have other baked goods and desserts to offer. The cannolis look delicious, haven't tried them though. The best part is the lady at the counter. She always greets you with a big smile and just makes your day better with that delicious coffee she makes. This place should be on your list if not yet.
I have traveled the country during 2020 and 2021 (great time to....). I visited some amazing coffee shops. Some try too hard some just don't give off a good vibe.InHouse coffee can swing with the best of them. I will easily drive 15+ minutes to come to Inhouse to get a good drink and unwind. The prices are great too (comparing to similar types of places)
Really cute shop, can’t believe I have not came in sooner. Staff were quick and friendly to everyone. I had 3 people offer me help making sure I was taken care of. Woman asked questions about how I wanted my sandwich, nobody has ever taken time to do that! Great menu, easy to read. Also, first place I’ve had a place just do an egg white sandwich! Will be back!
The staff is always friendly. Love this place always upbeat and ready to serve your Coffee needs. Highly recommended.
Being new to Worcester and surrounding cities, they are a great introduction to the area and very welcoming. I had and continute to have top notch customer service here. I like the unique slight industrial theme that also makes you feel at home at the same time. They play 90's music that brings back and creates great memories.Their fresh bakery products are on point as well as very good coffee. I am looking forward to returning.
