It was our first time here. We chose it because it looked nice and was halfway between our homes in CT and NH. The waitress was friendly and quick. Food was good!! We especially enjoyed the hummus appetizer. And it was a beautiful day to sit outside. Scenic view of the hills and the golf course. We will come back again next time we meet!
The view is beautiful. Service was terrible. Our waitress was not good so we had to ask another waitress for help. 3 out of 4 meals were good but one was a frozen chicken patty. Before COVID the menu had more than 2 entrees now it only has two. Mostly hand helds. Wont be going back.
We arrived early for our reservation and were seated promptly. We ended up in an outdoor area and were encouraged to take our time and stay to enjoy the fireworks later that evening. Perfect! Our server, Meg, was terrific. We both had the Chicken Caesar Wrap. Didn't care for the house-made potato chips but the sweet potato fries were outstanding. We'd definitely return to enjoy dinner on the deck on a nice evening.
Beautiful setting but the menu is limited and service is spotty. Could be a gold mine. Food is just okay, nothing very memorable.
My dad and I recently hosted a bridal shower for my sister here. The staff was lovely and the venue was nice but the food was truly terrible. I’m usually pretty easy going about this sort of thing but we paid $35 a person for food that tasted like it had been made early that morning or the night before and was reheated. Very dried out and not really edible honestly. My dad has reached out to the manager and hasn’t gotten any response. I would not recommend hosting an event here, despite the nice hall and the friendly staff. It’s not worth it for the low quality food.
My guests and I were very disappointed with the food from a recent event that I hosted. The owner and manager are aware of my dissatisfaction and have chosen to ignore my request for a call back.I have never written a review before, but the poor experience with Grill on the Hill has prompted me to do so. I suggest others look elsewhere when hosting an event. The one star is for the good service and location.
We sat outside and you can't beat the view! We saw a gorgeous sunset. The drinks were excellent!
I absolutely love the location of Grill on the Hill, right on a lovely golf course overlooking a pond frequented by ducks and geese. Last summer I enjoyed having their pear salad and chili, and was disappointed that those dishes are no longer available there. I recommend that they bring them back!
Waitress wasnât very present and made it clear she didnât want to be there. The menu is very small and really only fried stuff. Drinks were okay but expensive for the amount.
We did not care for the downsized menu. It a little noisy due to volume level of staff.
