Their haddock and chips arent bad their grinders are good. But there fried mushrooms seem covered in black pepper. Cant enjoy them being that peppery.
I made an order online, and my order was wrong. When I called to findout why, they gave me the worst attitude. They have good food, but the girl that answers the phone has a very bad attitude and doesn't care about customer satisfaction.
They had changed their jalapeño poppers and didn't say anything when I ordered them. When I called the lady said they couldn't do anything about it because I asked for them. Well hint of advice if you change something in your menu you should let the customer be aware!!!!!
Can't even take a simple cheese pizza order over the phone, put me on hold so long I had time while waiting to order from Kelly square pizza and complete the order before Golden even came back to the phone. Go with Kelly square pizza, they never disappoint.

i just got my order, over one hour they said, i didnt mind. i called back, first week of month, I was resent a pizza because info was wrong. i called fifteen minutes after they closed, a machine answered. this driver, just said he had no money to give my change . . use my credit card to pay . . i said no !! my tweleve dollar pizza, just collected a twenty, laughed at me while he took it, . and .I said bring me my five tommorrow, he was walking away to his car. and said they open at 10:30 . in the morning.
I decided to order from this place since it's been many years since I have. I ordered about $50 worth of food, once it arrived the food was cold and most of it was all soggy and some items were missing. Like really smh, never again will I order from golden, first impression was horrible.
I ordered a bbq deluxe chicken calzone and a chicken parmigiana calzone instead of putting chicken breast they served me chopped chicken pattys in it instead of regular chicken like everyone
Orders a pizza yesterday and not only was it wrong after I told the lady what I wanted but ate some and was in the bathroom less then 45 min after saved some for dinner thinking it was something i ate before and had it for dinner and 45 min after non stop bathroom visits won’t be surprised if The Board of Health don’t shut this place down place suck after it was sold
I am from Chicago and had bad experience with a lady named Jeen. Couldn't get her full name but she was super rude.She did not say her name but had the odasity to say her co-workers name Brenda she was awesome and understandable super polite. The pizza is good but I recommend to think of it twice to order from this place because people like Jeen we never know what they are capable to put in our pizza that we order.
