What an amazing dinner in a great location! The half chicken was delicious and filling, served with crispy artichokes & pistachio. Perfectly cooked and beautiful crispy skin. The in house cut rigatoni was perfect. This may be a new "go to" spot for a huge burger - served a perfect med rare, 4 strips of bacon and a great secret sauce. Service was on point, friendly, and attentive. Stay for dessert!
We had such a great experience here! The food was incredible, even something as simple as the fries were perfect, let alone our starter and the swordfish. Desserts were delicious. Ambience was chill, vibes were immaculate. Our server Willy was so kind and very helpful with describing menu items. Yes it’s pricy, but if you want something special it’s the place to go ?
The burger is really good. The sauce that comes with the fries is also really good. I wouldn't order any sides or appetizers if you get a full entree per person because the burger I had was so filling. The chocolate cake was just okay but the vanilla ice cream was really good. It'd obviously be better for the customer if some sort of ice cream came with the cake since the cake was kinda small.
Looking for a pre-show place for dinner, and I found Deadhorse on the internet. In total, its worth the drive (from Boston) just for dinner! We split the Spaetzle as an appetizer, which was new and wonderful, with creme fraiche sauce, some "crunchies", and lemon juice. My wife had The Port Chop which was done perfectly and was not dry as it is in most restaurants. Again, the sauce was simply unexpected and excellent. I had the salmon with a green curry cover, with some rice on the side that in Panama is called Arroz con Colon, meaning it's the crunchy bits that stick to the pan. And it always helped to have a waiter who speaks multiple languages! I am talking up the restaurant to everyone I meet! They don't take reservations, so arrive early if you want to be seated right away. During our dinner, several tables were filled with people who ordered The Hamburger and a beer, and then left. The burger is a thing of beauty but I didn't get a photo!
My brother and I each ordered the burger and fries and loved it. Great food and drinks. I'll definitely be back again.
Absolutely love this place! Creative and tasty menu, great service, fantastic bar and great drinks/wine/beer selection.
The oyster were fresh and best we had in a while. The pan roasted chicken was cooked perfectly so the meat was tender and juicy and the skin was crispy.
Great experience overall. The atmosphere is nice, and while it's not as important as food, it certainly helps add to the experience. The service was excellent! The servers were very nice and attended to our needs/wants without being too much in the way. They also helped me pick out what to eat because I was indecisive, and I'm glad I listened to that advice because that brings me to the last point: the food was very tasty! I had a nice, juicy burger and my wife had salmon that was tender and delicious.Only a couple small reasons prevent me from rating 5 stars: the parking is very limited which is to be expected in the city, and prices are kind of steep. The menu is small, but that can be good if you're indecisive like me! Overall would definitely recommend and would go back for more!!
Amazing cocktails. I was surprised at how good they were. For dinner, I had a burger and fries. Prices are a bit high, but the food was worth it. Great burger. Service was prompt and friendly, too.
Worcester is lucky to have deadhorse hill. In a city filled with blue collar folks looking for a burger and beer on a budget, this gem stands out and is sadly under appreciated by many locals. The menu is always changing, Jared the head chef is an artist, always traveling the world and returning with new and exciting ideas for the menu. His wife, Julia is an amazing sommelier and gracious host. Their selection of natural and organic wines can’t be found anywhere else in the area, and Julia can guide you on the perfect pairing for your meal. Brunch here is the best in town! The vibe is chic but not stuffy for the level of quality. It’s really the best culinary experience Worcester has to offer. A true foodie will not be disappointed here.
