As others have said, this is not authentic korean food. Its more a generic rice bowl/stir fry. Food was fine. Service was excellent. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Id recommend this for someone who just wants a quick lunch that has a good amt of veggies, but it just didn't do a lot for me and was a little on the pricey side for what you get. I very easily could have made this at home ,(I got "bibambap"). Also my egg on top was cooked all the way through. You probably could get it runny, but you likely have to ask. Unfortunately I dont know of another Korean place in Worcester, but Worcester has so many hidden gems youre better off looking elsewhere if youre wanting to try something authentic or different.
I usually don’t post reviews but in this case I had to. I was underwhelmed at best with the food. So I question all the positive reviews here. Hope this was one off and we just had bad luck with food.
This is NOT a KOREAN restaurant, but, according to the cashiers, it is owned by a Chinese owner, taking advantage of the K-Food popularity. The ingredients are Not for Bibimbob, and, they do not know if their combinations makes it legit or not. Shrimp Bibimbob, with broccoli, really? Do your homework first what makes Korean Bibimbob popular.They just exploit naive Worcester Customers who never had Korean restaurant meals in the city. We drove 40 min to think it is Korean food, with the misleading 4.7 star rating, but to find out they are takeout hole in the wall of whatever.They should change it to be called something else, a cheap rice-something, but, they should never consider them as a Korean restaurant operation.Shame on their misleading operation.(Added)See how bluntly and ignorantly they respond to me. Really tasty and fresh. Ambiance is downscale but clean and friendly. The gochujang sauce is just right for me in heat. I wish it were closer to home.
First of all, I am not from the Worcester area. I chose this place to meet a buddy who was coming from Hartford so we could do lunch based on some recommendations I found.Second, this place is absolutely amazing! This unassuming little joint provided one of the best meals (and bang for the buck) I’ve had in a while. Between myself and my buddies, we all had an incredible meal. Everything was flavorful and delicious.The owners behind the counter took the time to explain the options and gave us some great recommendations. It says a lot when the three of of us said we’d all come back in a hot minute after the first few bites.
Love choose and mix healthy, delicious and lots to choose from.I personally love the Bibimbap in a hot stone bowl with a fried egg on top, or the Bulgogi with fried egg on top!Do visit Ragina one of the owners and make sure to say "See you tomorrow" as you leave. ?
Possibly my favorite take-out spot in the area. I’m a big fan of their Dumpling Soup, Crispy Chicken and Bibimbap. They are also very friendly! I definitely recommend it.
I had a great experience here. The employees were warm and friendly. The food was pretty good for the price. I love their lunch special. One thing I prefer is their meat for bulgogi is ground beef instead of thinly sliced beef. The yummy sauce was yummy but was a bit bland and didn’t coat the glass noodles well. But thank you for your service, I still enjoyed coming here.
My daughter got the hibachi chicken with a friend egg and she thought it was great. It's super clean inside and the staff are incredibly friendly. Instead of bye, they say, see you tomorrow! Love that!
My boyfriend and I ordered takeout tonight. I'm vegan, he's not - we both loved our meals. I was particularly impressed when I saw the notes on my box of food detailing what was and wasn't vegan - the sauce that came separately and the miso soup were enjoyed by my boyfriend. I've never had another restaurant take that time or show such thoughtfulness. We'll definitely be ordering from them again!
