We ate at Sam's for the first time. It won't be our last. Our meals were incredible. I had lobster ravioli and my wife had chicken Marsalis. Everything melted in your mouth. Service was quick, professional and friendly. If there was anything I would be critical on would be parking. Can't wait to go again.
Our party of 9 had a fantastic time, we were from Haverhill, our friends from Brookline. They were accommodating and the Main bar was fantastic. Everyone's burger w/mac n cheese aranci or fries were very tasty. I had a cesare w/salmon awesome.
Great spot for dinner. BYOB is a very neat feature, as you can save a little and still have a bottle out. Staff was very friendly and the food was fresh. Pasta is made on Mondays!
Arancini balls were absolutely delicious. I'd prefer if they didn't come drowned in their sauce because it takes away from the crisp of the fried ball, but the flavor was great.Calamari was good, lightly coated and tasted fresh.Now the entrées were extremely disappointed. I got the osso bucco and my fiance got the eggplant parm.The osso bucco didn't taste like anything. There was no seasoning at all. The meat was cooked pretty well, fall off the bone kind of thing, but it didn't have any flavor! The risotto underneath was slightly underdone for my taste, but wasn't too starchy. I enjoy al dente risotto but this was a bit much. The flavor from the risotto was a lobster type broth, but I wasn't a big fan of it. The rice got better the more I ate but the meat was so disappointing. Ate 1/4 of it, took the rest home, seasoned it and reheated it the next day and it was delicious.The eggplant parm was good, eggplant was lightly breaded and tasty.I won't be coming back unfortunately, it started off so well and ended up being a big let down. Also pricey.
The food was some of the best Italian I have had - anywhere. Service was exceptional and very friendly.
Don’t try to order on door dash because they apparently don’t have an affiliation with them. When we drove there to try to pick up our food that we paid for the staff at the restaurant weren’t particularly friendly about the situation either, Scams kitchen.
Delicious food “made to order.” The home made pasta was a welcome treat. Friendly service — a winner.
