We drove all the way from Burlington skipping many Indian restaurants on the way because we like woodland. Always had good experience dining here but today the lady at the counter refused to give us a table when at least 4 tables were available. Never had such an awful experience at woodland, previous staff was better and cared about customers. Her behavior was unprofessional and rude, could have handled better. 2 stars for food.

We had an awful experience at Woodlands tonight. Went to pick up dinner & after waiting an extra 10-15 minutes they gave us our food & discovered 1 of our three items was missing. The man working actually asked me if I needed it or if that was okay that I didn't have it. I told him we wanted it and after another 15 minutes he had someone put something together that was not what we ordered. It was supposed to be Dahi Puri but instead they gave us empty shells with two small containers of yogurt and a cold potato filling. No chickpea, neither of the chutneys. No masala yogurt, no spices. By the time we got home all of our food was cold, not great and the portion sizes where very small. I brought the Dahi Puri back to try to get a refund and was told there was nothing they could for me. He told me to come back again the next day and talk to a manager. I would not recommend Woodlands. I attached a picture of what the $9 Dahi Puri looks like.

Wonderful food! Super friendly staff. The place is kept very clean and the prices are very reasonable. All they need to do is add some music and more decoration to make the place a little more welcoming and they've got it! The dosas are great and they will make your food as regular or spicy as you want. So glad to find this restaurant for all sorts of vegetarian Indian food.

I had placed an online order yesterday 05/14/2022 not knowing that the restaurant was closed yesterday temporary. Moreover the system also accepted the online order and the payment. In addition the estimated wait time was also shared for the pick up.On reaching the restaurant for pick up, it was closed. The payment is deducted from our account and there is no one available on call to refund the payment that they deducted without providing service. There was no notification on the calling service or on the online portal notifying the customers that the restaurant is closed.

We went for dinner. Thought to order Tea because we thought it will be good refreshment since main course will take time. After our dinner was finished, the serving person came and asked if they can bring the tea. We told them, we wanted to have the tea before our dinner not after that. They don't have many helpers, so your food will always be delayed. The main course was good but quantity was less as compared to other places. This place is over priced for sure.Today went there to get samosa. $8.99 for 3 pieces. What a steal man. That too frozen samosas, just deep fried and served. Save your money and never order samosas. Average food but pricey $$$$.

In Person: Strongly recommend that you visit at least 1-2 hours earlier than your usual visit times, as things get busy on weekend evenings. The water is always at room temperature so if you need iced water then you have to ask for it. Food delivery takes time. The waiters are usually the owner's family members so please be courteous and patient. My food took time to be delivered on the table but then they apologized for the delay.Online: Ordered over the phone on Monday evening. The person took the order correctly. The food was well packed and was waiting even before the collection time. The billing was done accurately.Coming to the food - was expecting below average food which was my experience with this place, couple of years ago.In addition since it was a Monday evening, was expecting average food. But all items on my order was FRESH except for a sweet corn soup which looked and tasted bad.The remaining items were good enough. The prices were also reasonable.Overall it is a good restaurant. I'm seeing some bad reviews from others but their situation could have been different.Anyways, the following things are always expected at Indian restaurantsMain course being delivered before the appetizersLong delays in getting the food servedDifficulty in getting the attention of the waiterDifficulty in getting the final bill or check. Luckily these days they have mobile payment so you dont have to wait for the server again.Forgotten serving of dishesSome of the wait staff are usually students or restaurant owner's family members so they have little experience..So yes, it is not a bad place to eat or take out...I will visit this place moving forward..

Their food and service exceeds my expectations every time! Great when hosting guests with food requirements. We usually get takeout, and it’s always hot and ready when they say it will be. Exceptional customer service on top of delicious food!

Their Dosa and Sambhar are always our go to. We have tried few Punjabi Subzis and they are pretty decent. It's flavorful , doesn't add any food colors. They are bringing new items to the menu as well. One downside for me is the food doesn't justify the prices they have kept as it doesn't translate that well to Dine-In experience.

We ordered Hakka noodles and one gobhi manchurian.Hakka noodles had peas - who puts peas in a noodle. Looks like we were eating a Indian Maggie or May be veg pulaav.Gobhi manchurian - it was refried so many times that it was hard to chew. Not going back. There is definitely going to be Negative marketing.

Wengo often. Food is decent. However there is no semblance of customer service. In today's day all stores are competing for our patronage. The owner is rude and does not want to help. I had an issue with my reward account. She throws the problem back at me. Anyways I am avoiding this place all together. Go to Mayuri instead !
