We were looking for a restaurant for a special anniversary dinner. It was very difficult to find a restaurant that was open on July 3 (we gave up on finding one for July 4th, our anniversary), and had outside seating. Tavolino's was perfect! Their patio was delightful, the service was great, and the food was delicious! I ordered Padre e figlio, and my husband ordered pasta alla Amatriciana. The pasta was homemade, and the sauces were light, and the herbs and spices were fresh and not overpowering. I appreciated the option to order small or large. The small was more than enough for me, and i have enough for another meal. We will definitely return!
Slow wait staff in inattentive30 min to be waited on at our table 30 more min before our drinks came Dont fill your restaurant to capacity when you don’t have enough staff The patrons are expected to tip , the staff should be expected to earn it We left a tip I’d never not leave one but I won’t go back The fact that you can’t get help should not be an issue for your guests
Basically, the standard Italian at Tavolino - green salad, chicken saltimbocca, was really good. But the less common - in our case the grilled baby artichokes and the mushroom papardelle (Padre e Figlio) - was amazing. Wonderful, quiet atmosphere. Will visit again soon!
Really good food! Highly recommend the Florentine Steak pizza and the chicken piccata. Portions are very consistent and the waitstaff are very friendly. In warmer weather they have outdoor seating and even bring live music at night! Obviously with Covid ever evolving it’s subject to change
I love this restaurant. Visited over the summer snd fall ate outside . The patio was perfect on a Saturday night . The waiter was great and I didn’t feel rushed at all . We were able to enjoy a lovely dinner leisurely I really felt relaxed and the food was delicious I had the butternut squash pasta it was fantastic . The whole experience was just perfect ! It’s hard these days yo find a restaurant where you are not rushed . I felt as if I was on vacation lol . Highly recommend the outdoor dining experience

We ordered a large to- go order while staying nearby: everything was amazing! The food was delicious, well packaged, and the staff were extending helpful getting the whole thing together. Beautiful building and layout as well.
Had a great lunch date on the patio. The service was attentive and the food was excellent. The Padre e Figlio pasta dish was amazing.
With an extensive wine list, a long list of brews, and a deep menu, Tavolino is far more than an upscale pizza restaurant. One of us had the vegetarian Padre e figlio, which was dense with mushrooms and herbs. The other had the steak tips with garlic mashed potatoes, green beans that were not overcooked, and an awesome homemade steak sauce. We both took home dinner for the next day, then shared a tiramisu. Everything else was 5 stars, but the tiramisu was only 4 stars. Not too much to complain about. Good service, great wine, and we will definitely be back.
