Went there a few times recently and every time the food was spot on. I especially love the soon tofu stew which has tons of seafood and the broth is very rich & flavorful. I also recommend the BBQ kalbi.
We went here Feb 26th 2022 with a family friend from Seattle. Food was subpar and overrated. Portion size for the bulgogi was really small. I am glad I ordered 3. Each portion had probably 2 relatively bigger meat size, rest were extremely small, shrunk and either fell in to the grill or just were so small they stuck to the grill. Staff while friendly was extremely understaffed. We had to wait multiple times to get the waiters attention. Our food was over $150. It was 3 adults, 2 teens and one 6 year old. When I asked for the bill there was a 20% gratuity already added to the bill. I was told for the weekend parties over 5 are charged gratuity. It was literally 5 of us with one 6 year old child! The wait staff was hard to waive down and unavailable. The gratuity was between $40-$50. We ordered deserts while I paid the bill. 2 tiramisu slices and 2 fried ice creams. The fried ice cream came with freezer burned corn flakes. Nothing fried about it. I don't like to "negotiate" prices. I paid the bill along with $40-$50 mandated gratuity. I will never go there again or recommend it to anyone.
Got shrimp tempura and edamame to go, solid sushi but not *the best* ever - just yummy, fresh sushi
I agree with other reviewers that portions are were small and very overpriced. We’ve given given this place few tries already hoping that it will be better visit every time cause we live just 5 min walk away. But never going back there. Very disorganized waitstaff every single time we’ve been there, small portions, sticky tables, overpriced. When you order BBQ for 2 you get only 5-6 letters, then you order extra and get another 3-4 letters for $5. Absurd! Last visit we paid $80 for 3 appetizers and 2 soju’s! We wouldn’t say anything if the service was right or we were somewhere in Seaport with nice view but No.
This is our go to spot!Great food, friendly staff and wonderful owner.We frequent this restaurant regularly. We have never had a bad experience. Our favorites our the taco's and the bbq. The waitstaff Rose and Cassandra are great. They remember what we like and make us feel welcome. The owner Mike is kind and interesting. I highly. recommend this restaurant.

If you are looking for amazing food, great atmosphere, and an extremely fun karaoke date night! Please look no further! This place is such a gem!! My boyfriend and I went here on Friday night and honestly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we have never felt more welcome. We are such big karaoke fans and always look for the best places to have fun and sing our hearts out. We finally found it!!! The food was fantastic and our servers were too. I don’t remember the other ones name but Allyssa was so kind, attentive and sweet. We felt like we have known her forever. But we have to say the best thing about this restaurant was the owner Mike and his wife I have never meant someone so kind and a person to take such pride in his staff and customers. He truly went above and beyond and I couldn’t be more thankful. We would have gone back for the food alone but because of Mike and Allysa we have become regulars. Thank you for making us feel so at home!!! We can’t wait to see you all again!!!!
Had a fantastic dinner with close friends last weekend. Sapporo put out the most amazing food for us, everything we ordered was perfection. I had the best beef, chicken and shrimp rice ever. Thank you Mike for a special evening.
I love the variety of this restaurant. So many authentic options and everything‘s always tasty. They also go an extra step with love. I was working from home and didn’t have time for a full lunch so I ordered takeout and they left a super cute little message on my container made me smile.
