In a health conscious phase. Got two wraps w ceasar and buffalo sauces on the side to lightly dip. Chicken is excellent and juicy. Very pleased!
Last week 3/25, I walked by TruFoods Kitchen near the Post office on Main Street in Watertown. It's a small walk-in restaurant, and decided on my way back to stop in. I didn't read the menu thoroughly and quickly ordered the chicken wrap, not expecting much. When I got home and ate it, I was surprised that a basic Chicken wrap was like no other. Simply delicious. One thing that stood out was that it was made with dark chicken meat, which has more flavor. To me, this proved that the chef was particular about his ingredients. So a week later, I ordered the Maomi's Nosh, a chicken Ceaser salad wrap with spiced chicken and siracha. I wouldn't usually buy that combination thinking Creaser salad with siracha doesn't work. But after having the first sandwich, I felt confident that the chef would make another great sandwich, so I bought that. What was funny is when I called in the order, he said it be ready in 8 minutes. So it was not 10, not 20, but really prepared in 8 minutes. Again, the wrap was delicious. It had an outstanding balance of flavors and not too spicy. I talked with the chef and owner (Sam) and discovered a friendly, professional chef who runs a nice, wholesome sandwich shop. Parking on the main street wasn't an issue. Easy in and out. Try it out.
We had the chicken wrap and pesto Turkey panini, both were excellent. I appreciate that they use thigh meat in the wrap, so juicy. We will be back.
Tru food is exactly how it taste! My favorite is the soups. I'm on a fitness journey and I never feel guilty about my food choices when I eat at Tru foods. I taste like a home cooked meal. and would recommend this place to anyone.
I was craving for a caprese panini and this place came up on my search. Oh boy, finding this spot was the best thing that happened to me today ! As I looked through the menu, I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of favors in each of their carefully thought out wraps/sandwiches. I couldn't help but the desire of caprese escaped and I jumped at the sight of calipeace and aloo paneer tikka wraps. I placed the deliver order for the first one and waited patiently. When it arrived, I cut the thick and juicy wrap with loads of filling and took a bite. I was transported back to a time when I would relish the tantalizing flavors of Kati rolls (Indian street style wraps). I am so happy and satiated after my lunch ! I am definitely going to make this one of my regular spots and whenever I miss Kati rolls.
2 stars for the food, 1 star for the service, completely lacking in customer service, made me wait 15 minutes without asking me anything, while my pre-ordered sandwich got cold. I would avoid this place.Update: They have given me a refund. Now all they need to do is hire someone so they aren't trying to handle the entire lunch rush with one guy and two panini presses. You simply cannot go wrong with anything on this menu! My go-to is the buffalo chicken wrap which has become my favorite over my hometown spot. Everything is incredibly fresh and made that morning, you can tell
Ordered here for lunch through delivery service a Chicken Cesar Wrap and it was awful. First off the lettuce was wilted, brown and soggy and the chicken was fatty and some of it looked under cooked. The whole lunch had to be tossed it was so inedible. I was shocked since the reviews for this place looked promising. Never ordering from here again, since it was a terrible lunch and ruined my appetite.
Enjoyed a Sonia from this small sandwich shop and was blown away by the quality and authentic flavors !! Highly recommend!
I had the greatest pleasure of eating at your Dallas location this past Monday. The service, the atmosphere and of course the food were incredible!!! A must try is their Apple Lemonade (I would love to have the recipe). This concept is very unique and so well done. I love that they present seasonal menu’s. I look forward to coming back again.
