I am a Persian, So I know about the quality of the Persian foods. The Kobide is not good, It was not my idea only, there were another group of customers in the restaurant. They talked aloud and they have the same idea.Chicken is good.P.S. The owner charge you for 18% tip by default, which is not normal with three people in the table.Usually, I pay 20% for the tip, They charged me for all the tip, 18% plus 20%.I try to do not go there anymore.
High-priced mediocre food. Their Soltani is a joke. Who combines chicken and beef on the same skewer? Clearly, they are trying to reduce the cost and maximize their profits. They should get out of the restaurant business.
We walked a long distance to specifically come to this restaurant for lunch. The website said they were open at 1130 and we arrived at 1145 to see a sign that says will return at 130. So we went over to the Irish pub across the street.I'll give it 3 stars because I really wanted to try it but it wasn't open.
Not bad.Skewers are juicy and flavorfulThe tea is slightly expensive for a small cup
Have been going to Shiraz for ~10 years now and the quality has been as amazing as day 1. The food is always great, well cooked and the place is always clean and well decorated. On top of all this, Shiraz is the only place offering Persian pizza on their menu and it truly tastes like the ones in Iran! Be ready to get super nostalgic ;)
Where do I start. From the second we got there, we were met with a hostess which she herself did not want to be there. No hi. No "how are you", nothing. Not even when other patrons came in after us. In the restaurant business there are 2 times you must not make a customer feel regret. When they first enter your place and when they actually pay for the product. Both happened for us. Which is pretty sad given the nice looking place that it actually was.The food was horrible and I rarely say that and I do not feel good saying it because I know a lot of businesses are trying to stay open but if you are going to charge good money, you must provide good food. The meat on the Kubideh, I needed a reciprocal saw to cut it. The rice needed both salt and some butter and the lamb kabob, well it tasted like it belong in a taco. Not sure what that red pasta sauce like substance was.I will NOT say to skip this place but read all the reviews. Notice all the bad ones all sound the same and follow the same issues just like ours. Sometimes the things that make you the most upset are the things that are actually true. If I am the owner, I would not reply with excuses and lame explanations. This is a beautiful restaurant. It's about time you fix your ongoing issues and please hire someone that can at least fake smile, not make us feel that she is doing us a favor. Even the other patrons that came after us gave us a look like "who is THIS person working here and why is she here." That is a look of regret which as a business owner you must avoid.
We enjoy it every time we go. The vibe is nice. Their service is great. The food is consistently tasty. Our favourites are: Barg Kabab with rice, the hot bread, the yogurt drink. We have not found a better Persian restaurant in Boston area.
I had a wonderful time at this place. The service is wonderful! The owner is a kind man, with genuinely kind smile. Excellent food
In a short time living in Boston, I have been in Shiraz restaurant a couple of time. My experience in almost the same every time. The food quality is good, not perfect. Comparing to American restaurants the portion is less and the price is high but overall I like it there.
Excellent food and drink ! Absolutely loved the Kebob platter. It was our first time here. The waitress was nice and guided us well to make the right selection of order. The only downfall is, it is a bit expensive including mandatory 18% gratuity. However, considering the high quality Persian food, I am fine with it.I would definitely come back again !
