RIP OFF ARTISTS. The only complaint I have about the food is that the brown gravy for egg foo young was as thin as water. When I purchased this at their Arlington location it was thick gravy.However, on 2 occasions I was overcharged for my order at this Watertown location. When ordering today I noticed that the price for egg foo young lunch special on the watertown locations website was $10.49. Yet on the menu at their restaurant it states $11.95. The employee said I am making him laugh!. I guess he means all the way to the bank! Why was I told my order total was $13.95 and then when I get there the total I was charged was $14.39. If their latest menu states that the price is $11.95, and the meal tax is 6.25%, rounded to 7 cents per dollar, the tax is. $.84 cents. $11.95 plus $.84 cents = $12.79.. Charging me $14.39 means I was overcharged $1.60 for this order. My previous order the same employee overcharged me by $4. I will not give them my business anymore.UPDATE :In the restaurants response they lied and said there is additional $2 charge to my order because I chose chicken wings as the appetizer in the luncheon special. I did not order chicken wings. I ordered and received chicken fingers. You people are too dishonest.
Was excited to try this place out as it is very convenient location wise. Unfortunately the food was a major let down. We got the orange chicken, chicken chow-mein, egg rolls, and kung pao chicken.. The orange chicken & eggroll were pretty good and delivery was quick & affordable, but the chicken chow-mein was a MAJOR disappintment. The entire container was sprouts and sad looking boiled chicken- we did not eat it. We could not find any noodles :/ ended up throwing it out because it was not good (pictured here).
My 1st time eating here the food was amazing! Customer service was so good I recommend this place!
I went in to see what they may have and the place looked closed. They are not busy and they do not look like a restaurant at all with no physical menus anywhere!so it was hard to determine what to orderThey have take out menus and i had looked and was about to order but when i had asked questions about the food the man working there was making gestures at me as if i was def and could not hear, he had a major attitude and tried to pressure me to order what he wanted me to order before i had made any decision as to what to getI had to walk out and i was glad that i did because nobody deserves to get treated that way and i was not going to stand for it.honestly it didn’t feel safe to order food anymoreDon't waste your time and money
Tried this place for the first time yesterday and was impressed. Food was hot, fresh & tasty. I appreciated that the chicken fingers actually had a good amount of chicken in them since most other places are mostly dough. Service was friendly too. I will definitely be going back to try more menu items.
Food is really good and reasonably priced. I had shrimp and brocoli and yum!
I remember seeing them advertising roast pork along with other BBQ items you would see in Chinatown and wanted to give it a try. I was crestfallen when the cashier told me that they no longer sold these items because not many customers buy them, and they end up being thrown away. I bought a general gau's chicken lunch combination with pork fried rice and crab rangoons instead. The portions were large enough for two people; the chicken was crispy with a nice balance of sweet, umami, and spicy. The rice was not dry and didn't skimp on the pork. I noticed my crab rangoons were missing, they took my information and promised to replace my item on my next visit. Also, please note that lunch combinations are available until 3 pm.
Newton has had a serious shortage of good Chinese until Number One came along ! Great food, good prices, great quality and portions, a welcome addition to our hood!
Let me start by saying that the Belmont location is and will always be my favorite location hands down! But this location is also great and has friendly people who work there too. The older man at the front desk is such a friendly guy! So on to the food, the food is great here. I have had many compliments when I order from either location and have company over, they usually ask me from where the food was and some drive all the way over here just to get their food! Their appetizers are great, main dishes have a good amount of meat and rice is good too. Win win all around! Keep up the good work guys!
Outstanding food and service!!! Beef and broccoli is the best!!! Everything tastes fresh!! Our go to place for takeout. We have one in Belmont but prefer this location in Watertown!!! Thank you all for great food!
