The restaurant is dirty… spider webs everywhere… the food looks good on the place but tastes very bad. It was actually disgusting. They added tip on the bill then told us that it is not acceptable that we didnt add any extra tip. Save your money. Dont go there. Too dirty and disgusting.
Molana Restaurant is my go to Persian restaurant in Boston. They have always served delicious food. Most recently, I ordered catering and all my guests loved the food. They also provided a generous amount of food compared to other catering services. The owners are kind and welcoming. Thank you!
Amazing Persian food. I was completely blown away despite coming in with a fairly good expectation to get good food. Decor and food fell in line with what I expected or would have imagined when entering. A bit of a wait for great food is completely worth it and portion sizes were generous and made up for the cost of dishes.
Cozy atmosphere and spot on Persian food. The kebabs were seasoned nicely, though a little heavy on the sumac, but it was still good. Definitely recommend it.
The food was amazing! The chicken kubideh was delicious, it’ll have you salivating for more! Highly recommend! The staff was super friendly and service was GREAT! They made you feel like a part of their family. Quick service and great food!
If you are in Boston area and looking for a cozy place with tasty middle eastern dish and not much worry about parking - check out here. The waiters Rose serving us had a very welcoming personality.
I got Zereshk Polo with Chicken paired with a Heineken. The chicken was perfectly skewered on top of sweet and sour currant saffron Basmati rice, topped with dried pomegranate seeds. The sweet and savory flavor combo was delectable. My date got Khoresht Ghormeh Sabzi which was a flavory Persian herb stew of sautéed parsley, leeks, coriander, spinach, kidney beans, black limes and beef. This dish was paired with their House Doogh which is a savory yogurt drink, ours was topped with fresh mint. We ended our meal with hot tea (with a side of sugar cubes), baklava, and my new favorite ice cream flavor: saffron with rose water and pistachios.
We liked the restaurant as it feels Persian with the vibe and design. Food was nearly awesome as we've been to authentic restaurants in the Middle East for the past couple of years. The meats were cooked well according to our preference. Portions were adequate. Maybe need more veggies on the side. I could say customer service was great as the server checked us if we needed anything even if she was the only one there serving other customers. A must try for those craving Middle Eastern cuisine.
Don't miss this little hidden gym if you are in the Boston area. Food is great, been coming to this place for the last few years and quality has always been great. I was never disappointed eating here.Try the Soltani dish for the main course whether meat or chicken, both are good.
We got frozen food reheated in a microwave. Lamb shank was cold in the middle. No excuse for this, at least heat it on the stove and make sure its properly heated. Bread seems like it came from a grocery store. Worst food I've ever had at a restaurant. I don't understand where all the 5 star reviews are coming from
