We ordered six entrees: Beef Rendang, Red Glazed Pork, Tamarind Chicken, eggplant, spicy veggie stew, and Pulpo (Octopus). Each dish was as the restaurant’s name suggests, very flavorful, great with rice. I especially liked the octopus, which was cooked to the perfect doneness, not too tough or too raw. It can also be served as an appetizer as I paired it with laver crackers and my guests loved it! All the dishes were very easy to reheat too. Forgot to order the shrimp curry, will try it next time!
It says something about a restaurant when you spend the next few weeks craving the meal you had there (we shared the black pepper pork, the eggplant, the beef stew-like dish, burgundy beef I think it's called, and the tamarind chicken.) It was seriously SO SO good and I think that pork is my new favorite take-out meal. And so different from the other options out there, they're not kidding that the flavors are amazing. Love this place!
We tried Flavor Boom with family in town and needed something fast and tasty for us and kids on a holiday Monday night-this restaurant could not have been more perfect (thank you for being open when many places are closed!) The sharing size portions were perfect for our table of 8 and everything was absolutely delicious. Will be excited to recommend to other folks that love good food in the area and try again for ourselves - next time adding in some of the suggested spice levels! Thank you for a perfect family meal.
Absolutely spectacular food. Wonderful taste - highly recommend any and all of the beef dishes. They should raise prices because the generous portions and the quality of ingredients makes everything a bargain! We found this place a month ago and have already been back multiple times
Full of flavor, just like the name! Good size of proportions per individual and appropriately priced. Quick and timely delivery service, and taking advantage of the free delivery over $50 is a great deal! This place is definitely a must when wanting food on-the-go or to bring home and have a night in.
We’ve had Flavor Boom at least a dozen times, and love everything we’ve tried — which is pretty much every dish they offer! It’s impossible to pick a favorite dish. Our 7 and 9 year old kids especially love the Boomin’ Beef Rendang, Burgundy Braised Beef, and Red-Glaze Pork. Last night we got their family-style entrees. Portions are very generous, and flavors are bold and leave you craving more. I also love that most items are free from dairy and gluten — which we try to avoid due to some food sensitivities. We only wish we could get them to open up a Flavor Boom a little closer to home!
Ordered take out here the other day. Easy to Order online and was ready for pick up. Ordered the beef rendang over rice and was super flavorful. Looking forward to trying the other options on the menu! Great location for a quick in and out in Watertown.
The food here is amazing. I ordered the Singapore inspired pork shoulder and it actually has very similar flavour profiles (and trust me I’m from there!). Burgundy was great too. I cant wait to try more dishes, will probably end up ordering all at some point.EDIT: This is the only chili here in Boston that I will call real chili. It kicked me in my face. Every other chili here is just sweet lemons. This one has so much flavour!
Decided to stop in and grab some takeout on the way home from the gym. Super friendly, gave a great recommendation, and the food is amazing! I didn't feel heavy like I do sometimes after eating Asian style food, but I felt satisfied! Highly recommend!
Really great food! Glad to have more Asian fast foods in the area. I enjoyed the marbled tea egg and the tangy tamarind chicken. The burgundy braised beef had rlly nice spices! Will be coming back to try other items :) friendly service as well
