The food and service was horrendous not only did my salad come with dirty water but after we were done eating i had to call my colleague to get me a CIGARETTE because it was so depressing and i dont even smoke.
I am super open minded to hibachi! Every restaurant has its tricks/secrets for cooking but legit everything i got tasted off. Salmon Sami- plain white rice with raw salmon on top. Damon was warm and tasted funky. Then my hibachi filet minon tasted chemical-like. Would never and will never recommend this place to anyone.
I am giving this place a two only because they were swamped with a really big party. They were friendly and took our order fast but our food was absolutely terrible. It was if the chef had never cooked at the hibachi table. He flung oil everywhere and just barely missed my 2 yr old with hot oil. The chicken was like biting an apple slice in half. We have been to hibachi restaurants all across the country and this was by far the worst experiences we have had.
Came here for a birthday party for my husband (10 people for Hibachi) and we had a GREAT time! The staff was attentive, warm, and welcoming. The Hibachi chef was hilarious and fun without interrupting the natural flow of conversation. Everything was affordable and delicious, perfectly cooked to order. The drinks were great (and strong!). Plenty of parking. Lovely ambiance. Absolutely would recommend, we will be going back again soon!
We got a 6:30 reservation, they sat us promptly but nobody came to the table until 745 after we told them we were leaving. When we asked what was taking so long they told us that the other table came first. We had to ask multiple times for water as well as drinks and had to remind them multiple times when they never showed up. Really just the worst night out in a very long time!
Highly recommend. I have had habachi and Sushi multiple times here. Highly recommend if you live in the west Newton area.
It makes me sad…. See so much potential and all the money that goes to keep the lights on every day. Location is great it is located around many shops and a gym. They should have a lot more traffic than they do today. It’s always empty the staff are like ghost - they aren’t there or happy to be there super uncomfortable. I keep giving it a shot to support local business but it’s hard. We sat at the bar today and the bartender could not be bother and was upset at us for asking for more. I watched him make the gentleman’s drink next to me which was pretty straight forward and they were adding other random stuff. Anyway from the bottom of my heart I really hope this is place gets better (because the food is not bad AT ALL). We need a good hibachi in our area! Good luck ?

Walked in was seated at a privet party table.. had to then move..6 hibachi tables all full one hibachi chef..
Hands down best sushi I’ve ever had!! And the hibachi fried rice is literally so good. I ordered food on doordash and it was perfect. Got the shrimp tempura sushi and smoked salmon roll! Will definitely get food from here again.
