We were seated in the corner and it took quite a while for them to take our order or to bring us our receipt. The food was pretty decent, the sprouts that come with the pho were not fresh but overall decent. I will probably not go back
Life is short. F.....it up! Family, Flavor, FriendsA nice small family owned place right in the heart of Waltham on Moody st. Friendly stafff and clean. I got the Bun Tom Thit Cha Gio Nam Nuang - which vermicelli noodle w everything. Everything cooked very good and flavorful but always room for improvement. What was really surprising was the twice cooked Garlic wings. A must try if you go,. savory crispy and better than ........dare I say bonchon.
I ate here as part of a party of 8 (including two toddlers). Overall the experience was good. The food was excellent - good flavor, nice portions, and good quality. The downside was that the service was a little brusk and one of the meals didn't come out until everyone else was almost done eating.
Fantastic little place! Great food for a pretty good price. I got the Tom yum soup which was delicious!! Next time I must try the fried chicken. The people next to us got it and it looked amazing!!!
I love this place. I was there a couple of times and ordered deliveries from them too. Service is good, everyone is friendly. It is usually not that crowded during the day but in the evening it can be. My favorite soup is Mi Hoanh Thanh number 57. I love that it comes with dumplings, noodles, and pork. I also like Thai Iced Tea. It tastes so good.
Come if you want to be served rotten food. They gave my friend rotten meatballs in the noodle soup and didn't even say sorry or offer any other explanation. The server's attitude was awful.
Every time I've come here I've had a great meal. The pho is absolutely great. But what really caught he off guard the first time I came here a while back was how good their freid chicken was. Since then I've honestly looked forward to eating their chicken more than their pho, which really says something because their pho is great. They used to have really good fries but they seemed to change the recipe. It's still good just not as good as I remember. If you haven't eaten here yet or you're on the fence I'd definitely recommend going.
Passable bun bo hue. They used the thinner noodles not the traditional thicker rice noodles. Beef that came with it wasn’t really close to what you normally get but the flavor isn’t bad. The banh mi was decent, but no pate or the right Mayo.
We ordered Pho with beef soup, which is great. It is very delicious and one of the best Pho I have tried. On the other hand, the double fried chicken wing is... just OK. Not bad, but not as great as the Pho we had here. Maybe our expectation rose after the Pho... The place is called Pho 1 (not Chicken 1) for a reason!
Pho #1 is good for Pho. Fried chicken (Garlic) is similar looking to Korean Fried Chicken but not taste. Go for Pho!
