Efficient service, huge portions for the price, a little bland but fixable. Great bang for your buck.We got the hot and sour soup, vegetarian leek pie, spicy bean curd, and chicken and broccoli. The soup was a great value, tons of woodear mushrooms, tofu, and bamboo shoots. The portion came with a ladle and all three of us were able to get almost three servings. As a garlic lover the leek pie was tasty and unique. The main entrees were a little bland but after adding chili oil were satisfying. Very efficient service. Total bill was around $50 and we all three walked away with at least one left over meal. Not in a rush to go back but I would if a friend wanted to check it out!

Went for dinner with family. Wide variety of authentic Taiwanese dishes to choose from. Everything was extremely fresh and delicious. Would definitely go again.

Whole fish, eggplant and basil, dumplings…. Everything is exceptional at this authentic Taiwanese restaurant. It’s our go to spot for Chinese food and never disappoints!

I had the eggplant with chili oil and it was very good. It was the lunch special. They serve tea when they seat you, which is very nice. The lunch specials are under $11

Mulan is an excellent restaurant with many authentic Taiwanese dishes to try. Lunch specials are a great value. You know you're in a special place when 75% of the customers are Asian. When I have friends visiting from out of town and I want to impress them, Mulan is the place I take them.

Excellent meal. Everything was fresh and hot.

Went here with my Taiwanese friend and we had a blast. The food was cooked perfectly, the service amazing and the atmosphere conducive to catching up with old friends. A must stop if you are in Waltham

I walked in as they were opening. The only people there was the staff. I held the door open for a woman and her daughter. They were immediately greeted and seated. I stood there for about 5 minutes and the hostess looked at me and quickly turned away. Two more people walked in after me, walked passed me, and were immediately greeted and seated. At this time there were only 2 tables taken with maybe 15 empty ones. I stood there as no one acknowledged that I was there and decided to just leave. I guess I won’t be coming back.

We used to come here a bit, and we are "authentic Taiwanese" but this place is not only quite Americanized, but it's so overpriced compared to other Chinese restaurants and the quality is so so. Most items on the pork part of the menu are in the $17-$18 range. On the vegetarian menu, there was tofu skin with mushroom and some vegetables for $20!!!We ordered shredded pork with bamboo shoots. The pork was shredded so fine it might as well be ground pork, and the whole thing came out as one sticky gooey clump. This is NOT Taiwanese style or even what a good Chinese restaurant would serve. The noodle with pork chop was fine. Pretty ordinary, basic dish. Can't say it was particularly authentic. We did like the appetizer of a fried pancake stuffed with garlic chives and egg.The restaurant is clean, that's all the good I can say about it.

I am from Taiwan, and I was excited to find a place claiming to be an authentic Taiwanese restaurant in Waltham. Trust me, this is definitely NOT authentic Taiwanese food. It's basically generic Americanized Chinese food, and they've obviously found their niche in the market catering to that segment of the population. So disappointed with them. I would take Panda Express instead.
