Fabulous food but terrible service! Went to celebrate my birthday and my husband told them at time of making reservation, still they didn't know! Don't mind paying $400 for dinner for two but service should be better! Brought our appetizer and pasta out at same time...are these people really Italian?!! Been to Italy and they know different courses!
Great service I would give 5 stars for that. The dessert was delish. But unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed with dinner. we ordered the short ribs special, rack of lamb, gnocchi and another red sauce pasta and it was all ok. But not great. The gnocchi was the better of all of them. But that's really all I really enjoyed. Maybe we didn't order the right things. The wine selection was very nice and coffee was good too.
First time there and had a wonderful experience. We were seated in the back room with the beautiful glass window view of the wine room next to our table. The atmosphere/ambience was so romantic and warm. It truly felt like we were in Italy with Tuscan vibes. Food was fresh and delicious but the desserts were stand out good. Angelo our waiter was excellent. Will definitely be back.
Great food and ambience and service. Slightly towards the pricier side but the ambience and service justifies it. Everything we ordered was delicious, however the desserts were truly delightful - will head back for the sweet craving.
One of the benchmark Italian restaurants in Eastern Massachusetts. Hits all of the buttons and does not skip a beat… service, cuisine, atmosphere, wine list. 5 stars all around
Best ravioli I've had in my life. Just be forewarned that for about $30 you get five ravioli on your plate, though their filling of shredded beef is quite substantial and pleasantly filling. The sauce had a beautiful flavor. Pair that with a salad and appetizer and it should be sufficient. Wonderful ambiance and top notch decor. Parking is a little tight on the main street, just FYI.
Our experience was a perfect 10! Amazing food and service. We’ll definitely be going back. Truly an exceptional dining experience - the oysters, stuffed prosciutto, beef ravioli, swordfish, etc. couldn’t have been better!
We picked this restaurant based on the reviews. We were sorely disappointed. The two servers we dealt with were particularly surly. One mischaracterized the small plates in a transparent effort to get us to order more expensive entrees. The service was incredibly slow. But our dinner was ruined by the two very unpleasant servers. Hard to focus on the quality of the food when you are being treated this way.We also ate at Il Capriccio in Waltham. What a contrast!! Excellent food and very nurturing staff.

This is a family favorite. It was first recommended to us over 20 years ago by our daughter, a trained chef, based on its reputation, and we've been dining here off and on ever since. Tim our server is always polite, patient, knowledgeable, and welcoming, Everything on the menu is good, and we have shared its excellence with our friends. The most recent visit was me with a neighbor while our wives were having a separate dinner with their friends. Absolutely, go here for a wonderful dinner.
