I had a great time here with a friend from Tx. We had excellent waitstaff and nice atmosphere with TVs for watching sports games.
For a bar, jocks has surprisingly good adorable food.Edit:. Was looking back at old reviews and I must have enjoyed the drinks here as well! Not only was the food adorable but also affordable. don't remember jocks being there ?
The owner was bartending which is a huge shock these days! Best bar and bite experience I've had in the area so far. Just moved into the area about a month and a half ago, if your looking for a home away from home vibe this is legit the place! Have been recommending thus spot to everyone I know!
Waited over an hour for food. Waitress got drinks wrong. Buffalo wings not fried gummy with too much too hot sauce . Burger was good. Spent way too much time waiting.

One of my favorite bars in Waltham. Over my stay I've had the Chili, Steak Tips, Quesadillas, Wings and the Hot Dogs. I didn't go wrong any time. The beer selection is great (with a couple Maryland beers sprinkled in which won me over). It also helps that the owner of this place is super cool.
Such a gem in the middle of Waltham. The drinks and music are good and the atmosphere is fun. The best part is the staff though. Jonathan (the owner) and all his staff are so kind and friendly and make everyone feel super welcome. I always love coming here.

Small bar with really good food and drink. I ordered a fireside martini and was not disappointed. They have a variety of food choices...not just normal burgers, though they have those too.
